Where do I start. I drove 16 hours due to the weather from Dallas to Waukegan with my 13 year old son for my daughter’s graduation from the navy booth camp. By the time I got there I was literally dilusional. I didn’t have the correct debit card and I was too early for check-in. The young lady at the front desk could see my desperation and literally went above and beyond for me. She allowed me to check-in early so that I could get settled and get some rest. She was absolutely wonderfully. The 2nd shift ladies that I had the pleasure of meeting as I would come and go were just as wonderful. There were even times where we chatted a bit and they shared some suggestions for fun things to do as we waited for my daughter’s graduation day. The room was very spacious and clean. I’m not use to that kind of weather so on the days that it snowed, we stayed in and relaxed all day as if we were at home. All of the staff that I came in contact with was so polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to families who are visiting for graduation and etc. and let me not forget to across the street there are several restaurants and eateries, as well as several retail stores and a Walmart. you will not be disappointed!

IF YOU ARE BOOKING FOR PIR WEEKEND RUN AWAY!! The one thing I absolutely loved about this place was the location, it was literally across the street from Sarge’s Meet and Greet so it was so convenient. We had a Walmart, food options, and gas stations easily accessible and within walking distance. Not to mention it was a short 10 minute drive to the drill hall which made going to graduation and picking up my husband super quick and easy. Now the hotel is a bit dated which I was warned about and okay with, I knew this prior to booking. For us we needed hotel accommodations that allowed for us to have a separate room, kitchen, and sofa bed and this checked all the marks. I read all the reviews on expedia and everything seemed great! Price was on point as well so really what could go wrong. Our first night there it just went downhill. We had traveled from Dallas and took a 6 am flight and at 11:30 after we did all our room decorations we were exhausted and ready for bed. My sister in law was getting the sofa bed ready when she uncovered a sofa bed with no sheets, multiple urnine stains, and rat droppings. I called the front desk right away and asked for a new accommodations. After and hour of back and fourth of them saying they will clean it or move her the lady at the front desk came and showed my sister in law a studio next door and she decided to stay there. I had asked to also be moved because I was not comfortable staying there since I’m 30 weeks pregnantt and had my young daughter who had been playing and laying on that couch all day without knowing what was under it. I waited till 1:30 to get moved only to go to the front desk and see that she had gone home and the lady there had no idea what was going on. I was so defeated and exhausted. My daughter passed out jn the master bed and at that point i didn’t have a choice. Everywhere else that was close was booked for the weekend. They didn’t clean it up or even removed the soiled sofa bed mattress. The next morning, still nothing even after we came back from graduation. The general manager and assistant general manager didn’t even reach out to me, no apology, NOT A WORD. I tried to keep so calm because i really didn’t want to stress my husband out. I asked to get moved to another room and they finally got back to me and got us moved. Now the following day. They had kept us in the 2 rooms and the general manager stated that Thursday night was comped but we would have to pay for the room after that. At that point i just said okay because again everywhere else was booked. The next day on Friday an employee had knocked on my sister in laws room telling her she needed to vacate the room because our reservation had expired. The employee then proceeded to tell her that if she didn’t leave that she would kick her out herself. My sister in law was so upset and the employee and management again NEVER reached out to me regarding any of this. My sister in law came into my room to tell me what happened and I called them. This woman began to yell at me stating we needed to get out and that she had guest at the front and hung up on me. At this point i was livid. I came to the front and the treatment I got was absolutely ridiculous. Management was NO where to be found and the employee refused to give me their contact information. Sonestas corporate customer service was out for the weekend and I felt so defeated. I came back again to try and talk to her snd I told her to just charge me despite showing her our reservation was until Saturday. All in all it was a complete mess and I do not recommend anyone staying there. Now they won’t refund me double paying for friday and saturday and for the disgusting environment they had me stay in and again not even an apology. I honestly would have been happy with that but here we are ☹️

Top of the line customer service, very professional. The room is super clean, with different types of pillows, and many of them. Little kitchenette for making small meals great to save some money eating out. Overall, it is highly recommended!

Positive: Definitely a home feeling and staff was extremely helpful a must stay location if the price is right. Negative: The tvs can be larger for the bigger suite. And more towels and blankets for the rooms that sleeps 3 or more people. Our room phone didn't work either.

Stayed here for my husband’s navy graduation & I was skeptical bc the few bad reviews but I can assure u I got here and was immediately relieved. Check in went smoothly everyone was friendly and more than willing to help even when I extended my room another night. Room was clean only thing is it had a little bit of a food smell which is expected it has a kitchen. Restroom was clean only thing is could use a little dusting around the room. Other than that no stains or bugs. This hotel is in the perfect location I didn’t even have to go downtown Chicago to spend time with my sailor b/c you can shop, gamble, bowl, eat, and do other activities all within this area. It’s about 6 minutes from the nex & abt 10 mins from the graduation. Traffic overall wasn’t bad in this area I was able to get around smoothly. 10/10

Very nice and clean room. I went to see my Nephew graduate from the Naval Academy. This hotel understood that many different families were booking due to graduation and staff was very accommodating. Of ever in the area I would book again.

The room was beautiful! Perfect for girls' weekend in Libertyville. Staff was extremely nice and gave us any extras we needed. Kitchenette was super cute. Had sink, stovepipe, fridge/freezer, and even some pans and dishware. 👌🏽 Air control worked well. TV had decent channels. Bathroom very clean, hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/body wash offered. Nice dresser and storage closet with iron/board. There was a gym and pets were allowed. Loved seeing all of the neighbors' dogs! ❤️ Only the drinks/snacks were a little pricey. Would reccomend bringing your own.

Dirty, smells of animal urine, no lobby,no pool,no hot tub, hair was in shower, bed was unmade, still waiting on my deposit, small coffee pot 1 room had a pot 1 didn't . No shugar or creamer in rooms.. staff talking a boutique where to get marjawana behind desk while we waited to check in... all-around bad experience
