Sonesta Select Pleasant Hill - Hotel in Pleasant Hill - 2250 Contra Costa Blvd, USA

This is a great little hotel. Clean, people were very nice, we have stayed here before and it's always been a pleasant stay. Got a nice weight room. Some of the rooms Have balconies and. nice bath tubs. A little bit tight on the parking. If you have a big truck like mine, the coffee shop is not always open which I wish it was, but overall we had a great stay.

I was looking for a room I could use a few days ago for the day so I could work. They advertise at slightly over $100, but when I made my reservation, I found out they would be charging me about $35 extra for early check-in. The day that I checked in at about 7:30 a.m. I also found out they wanted to put another $100 on the charge for a "security deposit" which brought my credit card charge to about $260. The room was nice, but I couldn't open a window, and there was no microwave. When I checked out that evening at 5:30 p.m., I thought they would send me a final bill via e-mail. Two days later I had to call them twice to reach someone who could actually send my my final invoice, and refund my security deposit. Why do I have to remind them to send me my final bill? Found out they also charged me $7 for parking, and with taxes, brought my total to over $210, roughly about twice what I was expecting to pay. I would never stay here again. Feel very much like I was taken advantage of.

Beautiful! Classy & comfortable! I love that it was super clean and the shower was amazing! Next time I'm passing through, I'm going o stay there as long as I can! The gym and the pool were both superb! I highly recommend staying here! Great price as well

The carpet is clean. The bathroom looks new. A small-size refrigerator. The fitness room has newer treadmills, No coffee maker. No buffet breakfast.

Location was good for me, near the BART. The only disappointment was that there's no pool. Customer service was great. Desk staff was friendly and flexible.

My stay at the hotel was quite an adventure. I was greeted by a parade of unleashed dogs, apparently doubling as other guests' personal welcome committee. Who knew liability issues could come with a wagging tail? The breakfast service was equally entertaining. The staff seemed to have mastered the art of invisibility, leaving us to ponder if they were part of some avant-garde performance art. When we did manage to flag someone down, we were treated to a culinary delight: a stale bagel and coffee that could double as a DIY hair dye. Trying to check out a day early was like asking for the moon. Despite our willingness to pay, they refused us a receipt for incidentals. Maybe they were saving the paper for something important, like a staff scavenger hunt. In short, it was a stay filled with unexpected surprises, though not necessarily the good kind!

Overly expensive hotel for what you get. Staff is not very intelligent. Booked through Vrbo. Omg, it literally took 30 min for the front desk to figure out the reservation. Oh besides the expensive room, breakfast is not included. They have an over priced “coffee bar” which has very little choices. Don’t stay unless you want to be over charged for everything.

Beautiful hotel in downtown Pleasant Hill. The location is excellent - safe and convenient. Close to the freeway and right across the street from several restaurants, Rite Aid, Ulta, the cinema, and more. The man at the front desk is very nice! The hotel is modern and very clean! My room was clean and even came with a balcony. Also, the price was beyond reasonable, considering the area, which was very safe. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!
