Was given a key to a room where people were already staying in (at 1 am), front desk person reassigned me a room. The room was damp, and the placement of the TV was very odd. I was staying the night before an early flight the next morning. I was told I would have to pay for each night I left my car, which was not specified ANYWHERE on the booking website or the hotel website. The man I spoke to said they would disregard the charge to leave my car because of the room mix up. I was very pleased at that.
Upon returning to KC airport, I called for a ride from the shuttle to get back to my car. The man argued with me that they wouldn't pick me up because I didn't have a reservation. I explained that I had already stayed at the hotel and was returning home. He said they are unable to come get me. After I explained the bad experience from the initial visit, he said he would send the shuttle. He then asked if I was coming in to settle the bill for parking. I told him there was nowhere online that said guests had to pay to leave their car. Actually, the website said FREE PARKING and Airport Shuttle Service. The shuttle driver said they are under new management, I suggest they get it together. Will not be staying here again.
I called for 3-4 weeks prior to reserve a room for a wedding, they had to refer me to a manager ,I tried to just get a room but passed on but no answer and no call back. Finally I got a call but didn’t make connections for a week, of course no rooms available and price went up from 119 to 299. I would avoid making reservations!! Management and help issues Good luck.
No coffee, no breakfast, tvs didn't work, manager and staff all hanging around front desk laughing telling us no nothing works. This place used to be stellar when Marriott owned it. Sonesta is a mess..... no one cared if you were happy or unsatisfied. STAY AWAY!
The man at the front was helpful but not very open to giving any additional information- food recommendations, pricing help at the “cafe” or little shop they have. 4 dollars for a soda is ridiculous. Our room was good at first, until we pulled out the bed from the couch, there were no sheets and crumbs all over, and the pillow in the closet was stained and without a case. Hairs in the shower and no microwave.
We have mixed feelings about our stay. The room was nice and clean which is important so they do get a plus for that, but found it odd there was no dresser or place to put things that don't hang. Also no counter in the bathroom, just toilet tub and sink. Had to put on makeup and do hair over the kitchenette ,sink and counter area that had a mirror. We were there 6 days and had to call on day 4 for the maid to empty trash and new towels. We asked for a handicapped room with a walk in shower and was told we would get one. When we checked in there were some major issues as they had already checked someone in our room so at midnight after another major goof on their part we got another handicapped room but with a normal tub with handicapped bars that was not something we could use easily. Another thing we were disappointed with was there was no food available as shown in the pictures online. Only a small area near the desk to purchase water, and a few snacks very much overpriced.
Overall the place was good and if we hadn't had the issues upon arrival I might have been able to overlook a few of the things that I felt wasn't so good. When you order an handicapped room and are specific on needing a walk in shower that should have made it happen. The employees were nice but we feel some need more training, they seemed short staffed as well.
Great location near the airport although I did not need it for that reason. A wonderful setting for dogs! The hotel is surrounded by green areas, bushes and trees which not only provides a place for dogs, but helps to block road noise (which was mild) and was very aesthetic. The decor and hotel has a nice presence and I would put it in the same category as many in the same. The only wishes were for a microwave, the restaurant to reopen, and there were no dog treats, bowls, toy or bed offered to my pup pal as mentioned on the website. The hotel had a strange odor walking in the front door/lobby area and along the exit doors (similar to marijuana), but the room and hotel otherwise seemed well-kept and in a safe and convenient location. This was the first Sonesta Select I have stayed and I would be willing to stay again.
Room was mostly clean with some food crumbs and things but bathroom and everything else was nice. We got a suite and it was room but the couch/sofabed combo was a little awkward. The cushions were slippery and kept sliding off the couch. There wasn't a microwave but there was a fridge and small coffee bar. The shower didn't have a shelf or anything to put your stuff down. Location was close to eateries but kinda sketchy.
Clean place, in good shape. Breakfast is a super handy To Go format, which is awesome! Plenty of complementary coffee in the morning also. Had to dock one star tho as we booked a two Queen bed room and got a two Fulls. Not great for a family. The shower room is tiny and dark, but features a nice set of Shampoo, Body Wash, and Conditioner pumps.

Everything about this hotel was a delight. The front desk were very warm and friendly (even on a 0 degree day!). The pool was the salt water thing where itâs sort of chlorinated but itâs salt. Thank you for the great stay, we will be back.
On August 3, 2023, When we were deciding whether to stay the night at crossroads we went to the front desk and a young lady by the name of Sidney helped us. While we were discussing on other hotels, she pulled up chairs for us. She and her manager we
I have been here on and off for months. The staff is super friendly, hotel is spotless, rooms are clean and very modern. Great bang for your buck too. This location is the best Marriott in KC in my opinion. The only tiny complaint I have is the desk

The hotel is very good and the staff is friendly. Very nice and clean rooms, nice gym and swimming pool. The breakfast is also better than most average we have in other hotels.
I just put 4 stars because the valet parking is overpriced (35usd/night)

One of my favorite places to run. In the summer there is a pretty nice tree canopy covering the majority of the trail. Itâs peaceful and beautiful out there.
Really love this place. Fantastic record selection with reasonable varying prices. I didnât have to do a ton of digging to come across several absolute classics. They no doubt have some of your favorites from many genres. The front room has records
