Front desk lady was nice and that’s where the joy ended. Room was run down and bathroom was moldy. Not worth the $168 I ended up paying a night. Breakfast buffet was dry, had no flavor, and limited options for $12/person and had to clean up after ourselves because there is no staff to be seen. Go somewhere better.

The room was nice and spacious. However, the cleaning service was horrible. I was told that the cleaning service was limited, but I would be accommodated if I let the front desk know before 11:00 am every morning. I stayed August 16-August 20th. I asked for the towels to be replaced which didn't happen, I asked for the garbage to be taken out which didn't happen, I asked for the linen on the bed to be changed and that didn't happen either. I would not stay at this hotel again. I wasn't even sent an email asking for me to provide a review.

Check in was ok, you could tell the workers are tired and overworked. Room was dated but clean for the most part. Definitely needed some deep cleaning and mold attention in the bathroom. Breakfast was awful and overpriced! No one around to even ask and front desk didn't care. They just said it was a kitchen problem. It's a good location and ok if you just need a place to sleep. I would suggest doing more research for a better hotel.

Staff was nice. Rooms were okay, just very dated. Service staff for convention meals (luncheon and a brunch) were super sweet and helpful. There was some confusion on the room not being setup early for the brunch, but overall they were nice.

I would give rooms and service 0 stars if I could. Rooms are small and some in our group had rooms with a terrible smell. I asked for room service when checking in with 2 reminder visits to the deal. I was continually told it would happen but it never did. The maintenance person came to fix our phone. Took the phone, left his tools and never returned. There is no refrigerator or microwave. You can request one but it’s unlikely you’ll get one. The bathroom sink didn’t drain. The front desk told us, and others in our group that breakfast was $12.99/person and failed to tell us that it was included in our stay since we were part of a group. Breakfast was not stocked. No one appeared to be working it. Cereal, no milk! One piece of bread left. Do not stay at the Sonesta West Milwaukee!!! I had to select how I would describe this hotel so I said kid-friendly but really none of the adjectives are applicable.

Lobby beautiful. Elevator quick. Rooms were not ready & we were told it would be 1 1/2 hours til they were done, short staffed. Finally got to room and the disappointment started. NO refrigerator, NO microwave. Nice big tv but no Netflix. Trip booked by my employer…. Gonna be a long week. Now to figure out food because what I brought will have to be thrown away.|Oh and because we had to wait, they gave us a piece of chocolate. What?? |Won’t be back

Positive: The hotel seemed relatively clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Location is right off of a freeway exist, so easy to get to. Negative: The room was pretty clean, but there were some mystery spots on the comforter and on a floor towel. The rooms were quite, but noise from the hall way was very loud and annoying.

The hotel is deplorable. There is no service. Despite repeated requests to clean the room, the room was never cleaned over three days of stay. The garage in the room started to smell after we got back late on the second day expecting the room to be cleaned. The TV cable box never worked and again, dispute multiple requests the technicians never came to fix the fv. The furniture in the room is a mix match. The chair is full of questionable stains and doesn’t raise up to the proper height to the desk. Never again.
