Sonesta Essential Atlantic City West - Hotel in Egg Harbor Township - 6811 Black Horse Pike, USA

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sonesta Essential - Atlantic City West. We also took advantage of the well-priced etended-day check-out option. Staff at the hotel were particularly helpful, starting with Chad who answered all our questions prior to booking. Other helpful staff included Raina, Ray and Dominga. A special shout-out to Maria who was available throughout our stay and helped us obtain a refund, when we had to check-out a day early due to illness. The rooms were clean and well laid-out. We would like to see the hotel offer recycling options for guests when we return again.

This is a hotel in transition. There is some work being done on the exterior, so it’s not quite finished. Having said that, the one night we spent there was really good. We were nicely greeted and our room was ready and perfectly clean. Nice large room! The hotel was very quiet. Shower could use more pressure. It’s a great value, for the location. Really close to Atlantic City and other shore points. Accessible♿️

My first day I complained about the water pressure and the air conditioner but nobody ever came to my room to fix either one. I left my floats at the pool but it appears that the staff wanted my floats more than I did. I had to continuously ask for service from housekeeping. The day I left I couldn't get out of the hotel because the owners decided it was a good idea to clean the floors in the lobby not allowing us to exit the elevator without the risk of falling on the wet floors with no caution signs in sight. I'm curious as to whether or not Sonesta would like to know the poor level of customer service this hotel portrays.

Great spot Andrew at the front desk was awesome. Honeslty I was shocked the didn’t have reviews., I usually stay at a hotel based on reviews. But it was clean and safe. The location was great to be away from the craziness but still can enjoy AC at a short distance. The price was great and they were very pet friendly for multiple well behaved pets. We will definitely be back. Thank you

Great Family Experience here. Quiet, Spacious, had a lil trouble with the cable but that was due to Xfinity. Staff was awesome, from management, to house cleaning, to Maintenance. Gym and Pool felt personal. GREAT SPOT!

You get what you pay for. This was on the high end of dirty hotels. The bathroom was small, outdated, and disgusting. The pillows on the bed were dirty, which i found blood on one of my pillows (picture attached), the air conditioner didnt work (made loud noises all night and room was hot), fitness center was missing the match of each set of dumbbells. The door was also hard to close.

We were there last weekend and we are very satisfied, the cleanliness is excellent and the service is perfect. we hope they can continue improving . Maybe They need to improve the pool area and they need an outside patio

Great hotel! The owner, Dr. Trocki, was very welcoming. The staff was very helpful and polite. The rooms were beautiful and very l accommodating, and the restaurant downstairs is exceptional.
