Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Downtown - Hotel in New Orleans - 212 Loyola Ave, USA

Séjour d'une semaine au Sonesta. Plusieurs point positifs : l'emplacement de l'hôtel, la chambre spacieuse, propre et agréable odeur, bonne literie. Le personnel très gentil et respectueux, le buffet du petit déjeuner différent tous les jours. Le seul point négatif est qu'il n'a pas de ménage de fait dans la chambre durant le séjour obligés de demander les recharges papier toilette, savon pour les mains, les poubelles de la chambre ne sont pas enlevées du coup et quand on a demandé des serviettes on ne les a jamais eu. Je ne demande pas à ce que le lit soit fait tous les jours mais au moins un passages tous les deux jours pour les séjours longs pour s'assurer que rien de manque dans la chambre. Et toute la semaine le sol de l'ascenseur qui a gardé les mêmes taches de café au sol. Mais sinon séjour agréable à la Nouvelle Orleans.

The valet service at the hotel was not very professional. Since there is no customer parking we had to valet our car. They took our car. We never used our car during the four days of our stay. A couple of weeks later we received a parking ticket for 30 dollars for parking in a no parking zone in front of the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel we took our luggage out of our car and they told us to leave the car and keys with them. They said they would take care of it. Obviously they left our car in that spot for a prolonged period of time resulting in a ticket that we had to pay. We called the hotel twice and they said they would look into the matter but they never did. They said they would contact us back on this issue. We are still waiting for their call. We paid the ticket because we didn't want it to double.We are very disappointed with Sonesta ES Suites New Orleans Downtown.

So first thank you to Trinice, if it weren't for you, we would have left. When you come to this Hotle say Hi to Trinice for me, she is AMAZING!!!!!. So, my boyfriend and I can into NO for his first time ever out of WA to stay at the Sonesta Convention Center Hotel (If you like cleanliness DONT GO THERE) because a week prior I had stayed at the Sonesta ES Suites Downtown and my daughter and I had an amazing time and it was beautiful so why not go to the sister hotel with a pool right? Well WRONG that hotel was nasty!!!!! Ok back on track.... So that morning we go to the nasty hotel I immediately call Sonesta ES to see about getting a room there. I talked to the front desk agent Eddie. He was extremely nice and let us know that we could come first thing in the morning. So that's exactly what we did. We got to Sonesta ES and it was so good to be in a clean place. So, we go out that same day and come back about 9 or 10 that night. I immediately get undressed to get into the shower when I look up and see a roach!!! I have a fear of them it's called Katsaridaphobia . I tried to call downstairs and the phone in the room wouldn't work so I ran out the room in nothing but a blanket I got to the hallway and tried to be as quiet as possible. I was crying so much that Trinice couldn't hear me, so she said with the sweetest voice come downstairs baby I can't understand you. I went downstairs hysterical, and she said what's wrong honey, I started to cry and freak out while trying to let her know what's going on and here comes Eddie what's wrong Carmella what's wrong I didn't want to alert the other guest, so I didn't respond right away he kept asking so I said what it was, and do you know this man started to laugh at me. I was so hurt on top of the shock, but Trinice was there to keep me calm and changed my room right away. I went to the next room and that didn't work so I came back downstairs and here goes Eddies disrespectful self again. I took him into the elevator to speak because there was guest at the front desk and asked for a different room and he got mad at me. By this time, I went back to let my boyfriend know that we were going to a different room, and he came out and made things worse because he didn't understand either, why I was in such shock, scared, and crying. So, I go down as my boyfriend was coming down to see if I was ok when here comes Eddied rude and disrespectful self but this time, he was yelling at me saying its nit that serious and that I was doing too much. My boyfriend said look I don't understand it either but you're going to stop talking to her like that. Eddie says this is not that serious then my boyfriend says look I have already asked you now I'm telling you STOP talking to her like that. I'm still in shock and refuse to go back to that room so IDK what happened after they got off the elevator but the next day my boyfriend said he almost got into a fight with Eddie as he kept running his mouth and talking about me. I believe that that bug came from the other hotel personally but regardless of where it came from that was NO way to treat someone just because you don't understand their fear or just dint care about it. Trinice you should be promoted and given a raise (Because that whole this could have been way worse, I could have lost it) and Eddie you NEED some more training!!!!

Very nice hotel especially if you have kids that’s traveling with you. The breakfast was amazing and centrally located to everything. My family had an awesome time at this location and look forward to booking with the hotel every time we return to New Orleans. The staff was amazing and the lady in the morning that prepare the breakfast was very helpful and patient with me and my kids with any questions we had.

Trinice at check in made our stay wonderful! Thank you for everything! She was so nice & friendly and was so helpful. She was just delightful. Valet was also great and speedy to retrieve our car. Hotel was very clean and smelled nice too. Staff was all very nice and helpful. We needed a crib and extra blankets and they brought all that up to our room so fast!||Only negative was one lady at check out was extremely rude to me and my family. Which was such a shame and uncalled for, but I won’t let one negative thing keep us from staying there again. Hopefully hotel reads this and can correct her for future customers. Everyone else was top tier! ||Hotel is in a great location and in very good walking distance to the French quarter.

Location is pretty good. It’s Near the bus stops which does bring a lot characters. Parking garage right next door which was super convenient. I love the security of the place and that you need your key to access even the entrance and floors on the elevator. Staff were friendly and attentive. Grounds and halls are kept clean. They even have a balcony to sit and relax on and a laundry room which was nice to take care of a few loads while traveling a long haul. Breakfast was decent with quite a few choices. Tables kept clean and coffee stayed full and hot. Rooms are super clean and spacious. They had cribs available which helped so much with an infant. Loved the kitchen, they had lots of the basics. Would recommend having a sheet pan for the oven of some sort. Makes frozen or reheating food in the oven difficult without oven safe items.

We had a wonderful time, but the best part about this place is the beds. I had the most bestest sleep I have had in a long time! There is a really cool rooftop balcony on the 3rd floor. Check it out! We would definitely stay again. Staff very friendly and courteous. Breakfast is horrible

Booking was extremely easy. Got to hotel and checked in. Found out the hotel has no parking for customers, so you either pay for valet through hotel or park and garage and also pay for in and out. So we got the room keys and proceeded to take things to room. We get in the elevator and push our floor and we pass out floor and go to 8th. And the. It gets stuck. One of the cleaning people had to use watch and get us back down, which it stopped again. So we go back to lobby and i ask about the floor and does one side only work with the sides and I’m told very rudely that we have to scan room key and push number to floor. That alone should be told To the guest upon arrival. I was also told that if we needed anything to call down and ask. So we make it to work and it has an order, the tub didn’t look clean, it was trash on floor. Day two headed out we asked the lobby to have service on room to clean and switch out towels and sheets and was told okay. Get back to the room about 430 and it wasn’t done. Ask people to speak with front desk and was then told we have to do a day in advance when cleaning which i thought was horrible and again should have been told during check in. They were rude and unprofessional. We stayed three days on same sheets and had to request towel multiple towels before asking. We’re had to remove it dirty towels and take trash down because service failed to do so. We’ll not be staying again.
