Sonesta ES Suites Chicago - Schaumburg - Extended stay hotel in Schaumburg - 901 E Woodfield Office Ct, USA

My family stayed here while on vacation for 4 nights. The rooms are nice. We had the 2bedroom suite. There was plenty of room for the whole family and two fur babies. We were able to stock the fridge with groceries from the near by Target. We cooked breakfast every morning. They had the dishes we needed, including frying pan and spatula. There was dishwasher soap for 2 loads and fish detergent. There were not enough towels for my whole family, and they did not replenish them after a couple of days. But they have a laundry facility and we just washed what we needed. It’s $3.50 to wash or dry and everything is done on an app, including telling you what is available or how long is the wait. It’s was so helpful. I could was and pick up dinner at the same time. They had an outdoor pool and a basketball court. We had no issues with parking or noise. It was a great stay. We will definitely do it again in the future.

Positive: Staff is very friendly and helpful. Pool is clean and the rooms are always nice. Negative: Unfortunately our sleep was disturbed twice by a malfunctioning fire alarm system that affected two other rooms (not ours). Additionally the guests above us were extremely loud and stomping around in early AM hours.

I stayed at this place for about a month and it was the most enjoyable hotel experience I’ve ever had in my life. From the way, everything is set up down to its people this place has everything you could want in a hotel you’re planning on staying for a while. The staff is extremely kind and remembers faces. I probably locked myself out of my room twice and it was no big deal each time. Overall, I highly recommend the Sonesta suites in Schaumburg.

My family and I are extremely disappointed in the service that was provided for us when we paid an entire months stay. Not only did our first room have mold in it, we were required to unpack all of our belongings that we brought in and moved it ourselves into the new room. With that, we needed an extension for another week post the 28 days and both Tori (sales director) and her GM provided the worst customer service I've ever experienced and were extremely rude to my family that is in need. Our children are sick and we asked for an extension and they didn't even empathize with us but rather lectured. You can clearly tell that this Sonesta is all about the money and has lost customer service. I asked to speak to the GM when Tori was extremely rude and transferred me mid sentence. I then got on the phone with the GM, who clearly has never ran a successful business in her life and she was just as rude and hung up on me. We were willing to pay whatever price we needed to pay to stay. You would think that a place like Sonesta would truly value their clients and customers, and provide a great experience, even though the first half was terrible you'd expect them to make it right. We had to follow up with them as well when we put in the request a few days ago as opposed to them calling us back. There is no initiative in this leadership team. It's truly sad. I am disappointed in this, and need to speak to someone in the highest ranking position above the GM and Tori to explain how they made us feel. As a leader myself, I can tell you right now they should not be running this company. I will never stay in another Sonesta again. I need someone in senior leadership to reach out to me ASAP. Thanks.

Positive: location Negative: They did not give the room that I had paid for. My reservation said two room with a king bed in each room, however there were four adult women and we ended up with a double bed in each room.

Positive: a noncorridor building. Bright stairs Early and good Breakfast very kind staff by the food Negative: an unopenable living room window I have to pay for unsecured parking without a fence every day Very loud furnace. Rip off. Wash machine system Must buy $10 minimum. Wash & Dry 3.5 each. where my 3dollar change can get it back? Negative: ""

I've never stayed here, but I will say they do some good up keep on this place. Fred is one of the Maintenence guys there and knows the building extremely well. People who stay here always seem very happy.
