Delicious Korean casual food!
Bulgogi burger was delicious.
The Rice bowl was also just as good with a hefty portion!
Also the snack section is great to choose from.
Make sure to try the Melona ice cream bar if they have it!
9/25/2023 (noon): I have been here few times now and always enjoyed the food but I don’t think I will ever go back again after my recent order. Found an INSECT in the food and I feel guilty that I made my colleague try the food before I found the insect. I don’t usually like to do negative reviews but I just couldn’t help but post this.
The small restaurant is a typical location of the Lark Street area. A few tables spaced apart. The hostess/server was so charming and friendly. She answered all of our questions about the cuisine. You can eat here inexpensively but we wanted to try a little of everything. Great flavors and decent portions. Just be aware of parking. They seemed to be doing a great takeout as well. I was sad that my homemade lemonade slipped and fell out of my hands 😔 Even bought a "Son of Egg" little wool hat for my granddaughter 🧡
Don't judge a book by its cover. Located in a small, older looking shop, is this amazing restaurant. At first we were hesitant to try, but so glad we did. The food is absolutely AMAZING. And the staff are SO KIND. The food is SO CHEAP. I mean seriously, it's crazy how cheap it is. The breakfast sandwiches are the best I've ever had and they're only $5.
GO TO THIS RESTAURANT YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.
My husband and I shared:
- Mix-Well Bibimbap with Gochujang
- Crispy Chicken Sandwich
- Crispy Chicken Kimbap
My favorite dish was the Bibimbap followed by the Kimbap. Both had good flavors. The chicken sandwich had potential, but it needed more sauce and a smaller bun in my opinion.
If you're looking for a quick Korean meal, this is a good spot to stop.
Came in for brunch. Ordered the Son of Egg, which is an omelet with shredded carrots and cabbage. I also had a coffee. Their Korean style coffee was strong. The omelet took 20 minutes at a minimum. It was approaching lunch time however the store was empty when I arrived, and there was one mobile order that walked in. I think that was a pretty long time. The sandwich was okay, but it was not my vibe. The omelet could use seasonings. The homemade ketchup on top of the sandwich was the only reason the sandwich wasn't dry. The bread was tough, so I took the top slice off. I decided to take my order to go after I started smelling an unpleasant smell, not sure where it was coming from. The store wasn't flithy, but it wasn't clean, considering it just opened.
Foods great have ordered before with only minor issues .Unfortunately the other night when ordering on doordash I got two bulogi bowls and paid extra on both for two eggs which came burnt and tasted disgusting , there was also a time where I paid for extra kimchi and didn’t get barley any to begin with :( which was also at night, not a big deal but just something to think of when you order late at night . It’s as if they stop caring at a certain time ,which sucks because the food isn’t cheap, this place just needs to work on consistency.some people will give you good fresh portion and some will skimp and give you burnt or food that def has been sitting .
Stopped by with my family on our way home north. Husband had the mix-well beef bibimbap, daughter had the kimbap with fried chicken, and I had the chicken rice bowl. Rice was perfect and so was the fried chicken with the sauce and a small side salad. Very good comfort food. We enjoyed beef dumplings as our appetizer.
Small space with counter space to eat and 2 large tables to seat a group of 4 each. A selection of Korean snacks were available to bring home.
What an incredible first experience here. It was a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was slow according to our waitress...the service was wonderful, the food was incredible...and the dessert (pretzel with cinnamon/sugar and a chocolate ganache). Bl
Nice little place. Decor inviting, staff super friendly and attentive. I had the pasta fagioli soup (veganized), and the dish with pasta, asparagus, tomato sauce with chunks of tomatos, mushrooms and vegan shreds. Perfect! Just the right amount of ev
I had the pleasure of trying The Bishop for the first time last night while the hubby and I were in Albany for the afternoon. He asked for steak and I had heard good things, so off we went.
First things first- what pleasant staff! In a time where ev
This was a lovely place to enjoy brunch! My waiter was absolutely phenomenal. The burger that I had was thick and juicy! Everything about this place gave off a clean, family-friendly brunch place. I definitely recommend for anyone who is in the area.
