We love Somerset Taekwondo. They are a great staff and include the kids in many activities like the ice cream party in summer. My kid loves it!!! We would recommend them to anyone who wants to enrich their kids with values and Taekwondo skills!!!

I like Somerset Taekwondo, because they are excellent. Master Kim is not just a master in Taekwondo, but he is a father to our children .He teaches discipline and good manners. He cares about all the children . When I go there , I feel that I’m in my home.

If you are looking for a place where your kids can learn confidence, discipline and enjoy a nice time while they do excercise and learn Taekwondo techniques , you should go to black belt world in Somerset, master Choi and master kim are very good instructors. Nice place everyone is very respectful and kind. My daughters love to come to class!

I don't know where to begin to express my family's love and gratitude to Master Kim and Ms. Diane. We started my 8 year old daughter and 4 year old son in taekwondo over the summer, thinking it would be a fun summer activity for the kids to keep them active. Little did we know, it was going to turn into not only physical exercise but an amazing confidence booster and teach them discipline in a loving and caring environment. Master Kim teaches discipline to the kids while being nurturing and kind at the same time, we parents could all use a lesson from him! My son Riyan was born with a cleft lip and palate and suffers from speech articulation issues. He is usually timid and quiet but Master Kim has turned that around. He is much more confident, able to speak up loud, and so proud of his taekwondo skills. Instead of a disability that defines him, now he has a skill to be proud of. My daughter Siyana says she loves the few minutes of meditation. She is a generally not athletic kid but it has gotten her to move and really increase her physical endurance. As a female, I think it is so important for my daughter's future, and my son's as well, to know how to defend themselves safely in a dangerous situation. They are taught to use their skills wisely and not retreat in battle. They are taught to respect their parents, teachers, siblings, friends, and elders. We are so proud of what they have learned thus far and so thankful that we found such an incredible environment for them. If not for Master Kim and Mrs. Diane who are always smiling, supportive, and loving toward these kids, it would not be the same. So if you are considering trying this for your child, try it here because the people make all the difference! I sit in the classes each week watching my kids, wishing I had this type of experience as a child. Master Kim even talked about bullying during one of the classes and I thought it was so relevant to today's issues that kids have to deal with. It is great for them to have an environment outside of school to deal with the stressors of life. As I said, I thought this would be just another activity but we are now part of a family, not just an after school or summer activity. When the kids do well in school, they want to share it with Master Kim and Mrs. Diane, as if they are really family because they make you and your kids feel that way. I am a medical professional and very picky about where I choose to send my kids, always looking at where I know they will be safe, nurtured, and cared for. This taekwondo school is just that and more. You will not regret your decision to let your kids have this amazing experience!!

In this place, children can learn discipline, respect and very good Taekwondo techniques. My son enjoys every class. The instructors are unique.

Noah has been going and learning from Master Kim and Master Park since the end of September and his focus and discipline have improved greatly and it's all thanks to the great Master's! They truly are caring and patient with the children, he even said he missed going to Taekwondo over winter break and it's not often he says he misses someone like that! If anyone is hesitating on signing their children up I highly recommend!

My boys have so much fun! They especially enjoy board breaking. The Masters are very patient and positive. My boys have learning disabilities and are able to keep up with their peers. It's helped them to focus and follow directions. Its also helped with their self confidence. Highly recommend.

Somerset Taekwondo is a wonderful place filled with wonderful people. When I first started doing taekwondo there everyone was welcoming and kind to me, they showed me how to do different forms and kicks when I struggled with them. The community, overall, amazing as it is filled with kind, confident, and caring people—who will not hesitate to help you with something. Overall, my experience here has been amazing every step of the way.
