Super good food and amazing coffee! Beautiful atmosphere in an old historic Simsbury building. You should definitely eat brunch here!
Service, food and atmosphere were all amazing. Loved the live music that was playing. Our waitress was so sweet and helpful with recommendations. The braised short ribs were so flavorful and tender. Definitely recommend.
Very pleasantly surprised! The place is hidden away, not pretentious in the least. The menu is straight forward and priced for value. The food is thoughtfully made without any hint of foolish fancy. The flavors are bold and fresh. The portions are satisfying. The wine list and libations selections are appropriate and accessibly priced. The bartender is clever and the chefs are talented and eager to please. That's very refreshing to see nowadays! I shall return.
The quality of food and portion size is well worth the price. A good variety of food on the menu and the staff is friendly. Really nice outdoor seating great for a nice night out. Make a reservation in advance as it is quite popular for good reason. Would come back for sure.
Soma Grille catered brunch for our wedding this past September, and we also used the bar area for multiple events throughout our wedding weekend. As we got to know the bar/restaurant staff and management, Soma truly began to feel like home for us. The staff was so accommodating, authentic, and kind, and they truly understand how to take care of their guests (including the well over 100 of our guests who came through at various points over the weekend). It was wonderful to know that not only were the immediate needs of everyone so taken care of, but also that all of our guests were being treated like family. The Sunday brunch completely surpassed our expectations. The food options were so wide-ranging, covering not only breakfast items (eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, toast, lox, etc.), but also pastas, an incredible paella, and a carving station — and outrageously delicious desert options to boot. We're so grateful to Chris, Carlos, and the whole Soma team for going above and beyond in meeting our needs, surpassing our expectations, and treating us and our wedding guests like family. We can't recommend Soma highly enough for your next event.
We arrived late due to events in town centre, though restaurant was quiet, bar was full. We seated at our table. Our waitress was an extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had an issue with temperature of the room and the draft from the windows. This had been mentioned to staff a couple of times. Nothing done. Kitchen seemed a bit overwhelmed this evening as we waited almost 2 hours for our main courses. We did receive an apology from what we thought was the manager, and dessert was on the house. Desserts ordered but only half arrived 30 minutes after the first set arrived still missing two. When complaining we were greeting with aggression and asked for the bill. This took more than 20 min. Would not rush back…
Nice ambiance, tasty food and attentive wait staff. I had the short ribs and it was super delicious. Aidan was very nice and attentive. Jared showed off his cooking skills with a spicy lollipop chicken. Will definitely visit again.
My fiance and I came for a Thursday date night. Very prompt hostess who showed us to our table and an attentive waitor who brought us our drinks and meals. A few other staff members also checked in on us throughout our meal. We ordered the calamari for qn appetizers and it was amazing. Cocktails were perfectly made and reasonably priced. They had specials on bottles of wine which we also purchased. Unfortunately the filet we ordered was not cooked to our liking but we were able to cook it a little more. I ordered the potato gnocchi with vegetables and sausage. Unfortunately the gnocchi was battered and fried and also tasted stale. Definitely a disappointment.
We went to watch the football playoffs this past Sunday, Jan 21, 2024. i had the dry rub wings and they were one of the best wings that I've had in a long time. Atmosphere was fun and festive! Service was excellent. Would recommend. We did make reser
Cute little cafe. We stopped in for lattes, but saw they had a decent breakfast and lunch menu. We both had the turkey, bacon, and avocado wrap. It was very tasty (and filling), and the coleslaw we had for a side was delicious. The seating is nice -

La Joya has been a fantastic addition the Simsbury dining scene. The staff has always been pleasant on the numerous times we have eaten there. It very much has a coastal beach feel with the surfing motif. The margaritas never disappoint , and we happ

This is a fun old feeling bar. The fanciest thing about the place is the digital juke box, and yes, it gets used. That being said, we loved this place. It was a Friday evening and the bar was full of folks who had just gotten off work. We started w

We cannot recommend Plan B - Simsbury and Adrian Bernard enough. We utilized the downstairs room at Plan B for our wedding welcome dinner, which had ~40 people. The space was clean, cozy, and our guests had a great time. Adrian was professional, easy
