Well, first, I heard Ron, who I met tonight, from two blocks away. Live music. Then the food! Yum! Out door seating. Had a cucumber in my water. Again, yum! The burger was incredible and the fries! Oh my. They were tasty. Waitress, attentive. Overall, excellent experience! I highly recommend Solid Grill!
I had an exceptional dining experience at Solid Bar and Grill. The food was truly amazing, with a diverse menu that satisfied all my cravings. From the perfectly cooked steaks to the mouthwatering appetizers, every dish was a delight to the taste buds. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable service. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations and ensuring our needs were met throughout the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the restaurant's cleanliness added to the overall positive impression. Solid Bar and Grill is definitely a top-notch dining destination, combining delicious cuisine with impeccable service. I can't wait to return and explore more of their menu.
I am giving it a 5 star although I wish I would have not gotten the end of the salmon. The rice and vegetables were good and not over cooked and given the price, definitely worth it. Good draft beer selection covering all types. I am out of town for work, just wanted a good beer with good food. Delivered and at a reasonable price.
Solid bar is Boise’s best kept secret! Their food is top notch👌 Drinks are good and staff is super chill. Ian is the man
Solid is a nice place to grab a late night meal. The staff was very nice and communicative about what time the kitchen closes and about staffing if they are short. They staff is knowledgeable of what spirits they have and drinks that are in season and popular. As well as their house BBQ for their chicken wings is a must. They have a large space available for banquets and other parties you may want to have. Go check them out and hear about their special along with enjoying happy hour twice a day from 1600-1800 and 2200-0000.
We came for weekday lunch on the patio. Past experiences have been very good. The restaurant was very empty this day, with only one other table occupied. The server was great. Very attentive and good personality. My "beef" was that the steak in salad was nearly raw. I'm not sure how the cook wouldn't have noticed. Of course the server was quick to offer to replace it, but I waited another 10 minutes while my friends ate. No offer to comp the meal. So, not the best experience but I'm hoping for better next time. I usually love their beer selection and live music on the patio.
The mac and cheese was nothing as described in their menu. There was no baked topping. It was very cheesy, but it lacked flavor. Plus, it was tossed in a box like trash. I thought i would try it since i heard good things about it. This was my first time ordering here, and needless to say, my last time. I was looking forward to a plastic container with mac and cheese exactly like the picture they show, with the baked crust, and it being very flavorful and tasty. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL.
Came here with another couple because they remembered the place having good food. The food today was okay. The server was okay. She was nice but either was busy or slow to get to us. We wanted more drinks and I had to go to the bar to order more. We ordered a simple dessert and it took about 30 minutes for some reason other than the server telling us the kitchen was getting it ready. They had great live music which was nice.

Great food and very friendly staff. We came with our dog and they accommodated us very well out on the patio and brought him his own water bowl too. The food we had was all great. It's neat to have a place so close where we can get to try handmade au

Was visiting Boise for a Botany conference and tried Bao Boi which was right across the Boise Centre. The food was fantastic and the word clearly spread throughout the conference attendees. The bao is soft and fluffy with a great combination of sauce
Best quesabirria tacos! This was my first time coming here and definitely not the last. The birria was SUPER flavorful and the consome was the cherry on top. I purchased a birria quesadilla for my daughter, she is very picky, and she ate almost all o
The staff were super friendly, as soon as we walked in they told us where to start getting our food. It's a dine in or take out. You pick from a buffet and add your food to the bowl, then give it to the cooks and they cook it right in front of you. A
After a great day of checking out a museum I had to have a butterscotch shake. My stepdad took me to this really cool drive-in place. It was cool and they had an 899 special for Thursday. That was a chicken sandwich at the spicy version and I had to
First off, the macaroni and cheese was amazing. I got it with carnitas and my wife got it with bacon. This bacon was not just a little bit, but at least 3 or 4 pieces chopped up and served with a side. The beer is amazing, the seasonal rotations are
This is a top-notch, authentic Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding, as was the service and atmosphere. I ordered the special, a northern cream dish with mascarpone sauce, mushrooms, pistachio nuts and sirloin. It was delicious. The family al
We planned to stop in Boise on our drive from Seattle to Salt Lake City. We loved the Boise Guesthouse so much we returned a week later on our way home. On our first visit, we stayed in the Animal Studio, and on our second we stayed in the Travel Su

Beautiful park area - I don't care for the narration boxes that much but the quotes on the walls are very moving. Lovely water features and very calming. It's right on the green belt, so it gets a lot of traffic.
Seriously the best empanadas! The crust is so buttery and yummy and the fillings are flavorful. I need to try more flavors, but recently I tried the Gaucho and the cheeseburger. Both were great, gaucho was my favorite!
After a very long flight to Boise from Florida this place was a refreshing landing spot and the perfect place to introduce us to the Boise craft beer scene. Boise is such a clean city and this place site on such a huge corner lot where it was bright
Is this one of the pricier bars in Boise? 100% But does that keep you from enjoying an AWESOME array of cocktails to please any pallette? No way. Really nice spot for an intimate drink after dinner
Love it never been here before very nice my girls just loved walking around and seeing some of the animals like the fish. All my kiddo kept talking about is wanting to see a sturgeon lol not sure if they have them there or not. Nice outing for family
We ordered a German sausage and a Panini House. Both came with a small milk chocolate on the side, and a bag of Lay's chips. A simple yet delicious lunch at very fair prices and just what we needed on this hot Boise day. I finished the meal with Turk
