Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The owner is personable and present. The staff are well trained and professional, smiling, efficient and friendly. The food came out as ordered. We shared a grilled octopus and squid appetizer, and it came out already divided and beautifully plated. My veal was tender and perfect. My boyfriend's steak was just as he ordered it. We were too full for dessert. It was a lovely evening!
Absolutely unbelievable service! Beautiful ambiance both inside and out. A secret find in a country setting. A very interesting menu with lots of spectacular choices. Wonderful bar with very good choices and an interesting wine list. Our group had Risotto with shrimp, veal piccata in a mushroom cognac sauce and a wonderful chicken over pasta dinner. Highly recommended you will not be disappointed.
I've been there 3 times in the past 2 weeks--one of my favorite restaurants in the area and probably the best one in Monticello. The menu is large, with very good Italian food. They are a bit short staffed, hopefully temporarily, but everyone hustles so the service doesn't suffer. It is very friendly. The place is well-decorated and elegant and the parking is ample. A very nice place to take a date or go for special occasions.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner at Solaia! The owner was very accommodating for our large group of 23 people and the service was incredible. The food was absolutely delicious and everyone left feeling very full and happy. Thank you so much for hosting our event and making it so special!!

We happened to be at the Casino this weekend and I had found this restaurant via Google. If you are from the city like we are, this place definitely seems in the middle of nowhere on a dark night. However it is well worth the Google Maps to venture out and leave the casino. Very cozy on cold winters night.... Service was outstanding!!! Ambiance was romantic and food was fresh and amazing! 5 Stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My experience with this place was very stupendous. We first arrived in this town whilst on an adventure towards another town and stopped at a place. There was a party going on so therefore they didn’t have room for us and sent us on our merry way to a place called solaia. That was a very splendiferous decision on our part. The atmosphere was sublime and our water was very nice. The food was scrumptious and my family and I ate it all and brought the rest home in to-go boxes. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
So unassuming, true gem hidden on a side street.. the team were very helpfull. Great selection of meat, fresh to made chop meat and sausage. Filled the cooler with "The kings special"

Food was really good! Had the house special spaghetti noodles forgot what it was called. Meat in every bite! They didn't skimp! And the egg rolls were fantastic! Little smaller than usual but still great. Wonton soup was quite tasty!
