Small and cozy place. Tasty fresh food with great presentation. Our experience with the service was good until the waitress brought the bill without asking if we wanted desserts and the worst thing is that we went to celebrate our daughter's birthday and we had told her earlier and she completely forgot. Definitely we will come back.
This restaurant was above our expectations. It was our first time the ambient was very nice. They had great music and just an overall great atmosphere. Our server Edgar was amazing. He asked us since the beginning, if it was our first time and took us through the menu and his recommendations made our night Spectacular. We were able to try many of their main courses, as well as some of their most popular dishes all in all this restaurant has everything you’re looking for, if it’s a casual date night or you just want to have some good quality food with the family. Definitely I would recommend 100%.
Honestly some of the most unique sushi in all of south Florida! While the menu is pricey to say the least ($25-30) a roll, they are FANTASTIC. I mean, the Spanish flair put on some of these rolls is so fitting, yet I’ve never seen rolls similar. Can highly recommend the Wagyu and Sea (Wagyu, Shrimp, and Goat Cheese) and Matsu (Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp, and truffle oil)! Each bite is packed with flavor and just overall delicious. Will definitely be back when visiting Kendall again!

Tonight we go back again and the place the decoration simple Japanese style, Stephanie our waiter very good recommendations everything she offered to us very delicious and exquisite, we order two sushi only one sweet & other Peruvian savor the perfect combination for the palate. First time at Sokai sushi bar and it was absolutely delicious. Me and my husband came here for date night and we had four rolls, (Doral, Asian, Ebi and Rockstar) the fluffy cheesecake and a nice espresso to finish it off. The fluffy cheesecake was to die for, best cheesecake I have EVER had in my life. No Lie! Unfortunately, I couldn’t take a picture because we devoured it. the sushi rolls were so fresh, the service and atmosphere was spectacular. Definitely would recommend to all as we will be back and thank you to our server Stephany for being so attentive.
The food was amazingggggg! Our waitress Stephany was extremely attentive and nice! We ordered the lobster buns, jalea de mariscos, tiradito hamachi, fluffy strawberry cheesecake, sake mules and a cappucino to finish and everything was absolutely perfect. Cant wait to come again to try the rest of the menu!! Forgot to take pics of everything cause we just dove in!
