I could not have asked for a better experience. Marvin was thorough and informative- but not too informative for those of us who aren’t particularly computer savvy or interested. He set up my new work laptop transferred files, cleaned things up, etc.. He was patient with my frustration and generous with his time and expertise. Cannot recommend him more confidently or enthusiastically.

Marvin provided excellent service. From the time it was decided that my old laptop was not worth fixing, he guided me through the process of how to chose a new model. He answered all my questions about the speed and storage options and steered me to the best choices of the day. (this was all before I had even paid him a dime) Once I had the new equipment he came to the house for a conversation on how/what I used my machine for. After moving all the documents etc. from one laptop to the other, he set up the virus protector and then schooled me in the differences I would find between Window 10 and 11. Marvin offers an annual maintenance check. I will definitely take him up on the offer, to keep my machine in good working order and to get any questions answered that have come up over the year. Softserve PC's is unmatched in quality of service.

Marvin Somerton of Softserve PC's has solved MANY computer problems I have had, mostly remotely, but sometime on site. He has even helped with with editing my YouTube channel! He is a marvel of skill and knowledge and is a nice guy to boot. His wife Rita is also fine when she schedules on site appointments for him.

I cannot speak highly enough about Marvin. He is knowledgeable, thorough, straightforward, meticulous, and reliable. I feel confident in his work and very lucky to have found him. If there were 10 stars, I would give him 10.

My staff and I are very pleased with Marvin's excellent service. We have never had such an easy and flawless computer change. Marvin took our 2013 desktop and within 24 hours returned with a brand new reasonably priced desktop that had all our information, programs, etc. just as they were! -- except better and faster! Was the easiest "upgrade" we've ever experienced! Marvin is dependable, honest, easy to understand and over all the best computer consultant we've ever had the pleasure to hire! He has given us topnotch advice which we have implemented to keep our business computers secure and working well. Cannot endorse him highly enough. This guy is worth is weight in gold!

I highly recommend Marvin of Softserve PC’s! I should have written this review long ago. My husband and I have been using Marvin for many years and cannot say enough good things about him. We started using him when my husband had a business, during which time Marvin built several computers for us. We recently had him build new computers for each of us, even though we are now retired, because we feel this is the best way to get good quality computers along with great support. In addition to building computers he has helped with numerous problems over the years. Whenever we’ve had an issue, we could call him and usually get a response quite quickly. He is extremely knowledgeable and can often help us over the phone (at no cost). We also like that he is a one-man shop, which means he is the only technician we deal with. We are very happy to have found Marvin and cannot imagine a better IT guy!

Phenomenal experience from start to finish. Ran into trouble with my gaming PC and stumbled upon Softserve. Marvin was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to explain his thought processes and talk me through my options. He was incredibly honest and forthright with every step along the way. I can't recommend his services enough. I found my new computer guy! Marvin not only demonstrated superior technical proficiency but he also delivered exemplary customer service. I felt well informed throughout and included in the entire process. Additionally, Marvin provided recommendations to improve my system’s security and functionality: he didn’t just restore my pc to the condition it was before I brought it to him; he gave it back to me better. Lastly, Marvin was straight forward with me about whether he could help me or not. I had a second computer that I wanted assessed to determine if anything could be done to get more life out of it. After a short discussion and some pointed questions, Marvin recommended that I not invest anymore money into the machine; although he was still willing to if I didn’t want to take his advice. If I or my friends have any issues with a computer, Softserve PC’s is where I’ll go to get them resolved.
