Great landmark!I always enjoy going past it. The owners also throw a mean Halloween party for the community.
Some friends of mine took their kids to this and they denied their 12 year old candy. He's tall for 12 but they assumed he was "too old for Halloween" Halloween doesn't have an age limit.

So beautiful and historic. Much bigger when I was a kid, but I still love taking my kids by this castle, telling them the limited history I know, and just enjoying the view that surrounds the castle. If you're expecting some grand European style castle this is not for you, but it's absolutely worth the drive by.
I live 2 mins from this Castle. It's beautiful, and Dr. Soderstrom definitely does a great job keeping it this way. Halloween, it's all out EXTRA. Just a beautiful, iconic piece of architecture. Come visit if you're ever near Peoria Heights. It's a gorgeous view and there's great food right down the street!

Beautiful, old school type of gothic architecture, it looks and feels exactly as you would want a country club to. Overlooking the river, the views are outstanding. Food and service excellent.
