Really fun place in Macon. Visited for the first time in September with some friends. Great atmosphere and staff. The parking is a little sparse, but you can throw the dice across the street with businesses that aren't open.
Gave one star for food because their website had not been updated and it showed a menu for associated company's barbecue however when we arrived and they told us that they no longer had food available, only drinks. However they were very apologetic about that And they waved the $5 cover charge for listening to the music program that was being presented Also one of the bartenders compted me two soft drinks due to the situation with the Website not being Updated. The whole area was nice with a stage area with table seating , two fire pits , very good sound and lots of interesting things to see as far as decorations. Inside of the building was very interestingly designed and decorated. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. When we arrived and were told about there not being any food available we're advised that the pizza place " Ingleside village pizza" next door had very good pizza and we would be allowed to bring our pizza over Society Garden and eat it.All in all a very nice place to sit and listen to live music
What a spectacular space. Somewhat discouraged by the fact that we were forced out due to staff wanting to go home for the night. Offered to go outside and were still monitored until we finally allowed the staff to go home. This was at 9 PM. Mind you, on a Friday. Otherwise, it's a lovely space.
Our company had a Halloween party here. Really nice space. The food was catered, so no idea about whether they serve food, but the bartender made good drinks. It seems to be a family friendly location, some ppl even had their dogs with them in the spacious outdoor areas. There's also a stage outside for performances.
Love the vibes here, especially around the holidays. Always kind staff and delicious drink. Have held multiple celebrations here over the years and they are kind to accommodate us!
I absolutely love it here! The only bar in Macon I'll go to. It feels safe, open, and the people who work here are great.
What a great place, man o man. Great ambiance. It's nice to sit outside and have a drink or two. Great selection of beer and wine. They have a small area for kids to play, so you can sit and relax while the kids entertain themselves. Little kids will get bored fast but it priceless when you have teenagers. My wife and I can relax while our teen feels super hip hanging out with her "friend". Way better than awkwardly chaperoning a date to the movies. They have live music a lot of the time and trivia on Thursday nights (our favorite). Right next door to a pizza place so you can get food. If you're looking for a place to wind down without the bar scene, this is the place for you.
So much fun. Great bartenders. A very unique venue. It was perfect when I rented it for my mom’s surprise 70th birthday!
Walking on the treadmill, you see the following words written on the wall: hard work, determination and dedication. Yes, these words inspire you, but the best inspiration is Anthony Bright. He is amazing! With a combination of tough love and caring e
We loved this place. So much history. Did you know that Gregg and Cher's pool table is there covered with memorabilia? You can walk into the world-famous 7 head shower! Convenient parking, easy to find.
Beautiful visitor center and well Preserved grounds. Nice 17 minute orientation film too. Mounds are all within walking distance to visitor center but does take some time to walk in between. Walk ways are nice but do provide challenge to those with m
Amerson has become my favorite place to escape to. I love this park so much, I've even volunteered to keep it clean. I've found so many interesting side trails to the river banks. My dogs and I have a lot of joy and fun here. Having a place to exerci
I've traveled here on many occasions. Each time you come, you can find yourself getting into something different. If you like to walk and run, the paved trail is for you. If you'd like to rest and recharge, the wooden swings may be for you. Maybe
20231211 Be sure to duck! The little pathway into the Earth Lodge has a low clearance. It is also very narrow, not for larger size individuals and those who does not like small, dark spaces.
I had the privilege of working at this venue, and it's safe to say that it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who treated me with ki
A very interesting cemetery with a lot of history. It was created when the city realized that the City Cemetery (see my review) would not be adequate for their growth. The terrain is very hilly and the roadways are tight. It contains notable peopl
Went to see a play here on Nov. 6th called Lover's and Friends and it was hilarious. Also very entertaining in general. Nice Theatre felt very authentic to its history with nice updates to the restrooms. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the play
Absolute pleasure from start to finish. Both Brenda and husband Wayne delivered very informative and insightful details on the home and family. Wayne has a tremendous knowledge of the Civil War and itâs impact on Macon. Both were very receptive t
