Went to Soby’s on a busy Friday night without reservations and were able to get a table at the bar in about 5 minutes. Food was amazing and service was ok considering how busy the restaurant was. Our server recommended that shrimp and grits and crab cakes can be ordered as 1/2 and 1/2 and that was a great suggestion. We were in town for a few days and everyone we talked to recommended Soby’s for dinner and now we know why.
Service was outstanding. Had 6:30 reservations for my birthday and table unavailable so we chose to sit by window/doors up front . It was freezing and every time the main door would open we would feel a pull of cold air from the waits down . Our waitresses were great ! They made our dinner and my birthday celebration so fun! Food was good- southern cooking . I had shrimp and grits . The flavor was good and plenty of shrimp . The grits were on the sparse side . Husband had braised beef and he felt it was good. Our waitress even brought dessert - banana pie with a candle ! Thank you !
First of the food was Amazing! Everything tasted so good, actually seasoned well and crispy, creamy or whatever it was supposed to be. It takes a bit of time for the food so ordering appetizers is a must….we did not mind the wait because other places youbtypicslly feel rushed to eat and leave. Here it feels like you can actually relax and enjoy time socializing. Attire goes from dressy to casual. Highly recommend this place.
Great menu, very friendly staff, super cool venue. I recommend having a reservation- it got very busy! The tasting menu we had for restaurant week was excellent.
We love brunch at Soby's! Great atmosphere and delicious food! My husband loves their shrimp and Grits although he sometimes orders a side of grits because there's so much yummy sauce. I like the Fried Green Tomato Benedict. The Sticky Bun is great for sharing. And you can't beat $3.01 mimosas and bloody Mary's.
I love Sobys and always have a great time and enjoy the food . Everything went great , we had reservations for 4 , the food was excellent as always, I had the fried chicken with honey sauce and it was so tender and cooked perfectly and I tried a fried green tomato and a crab cake and they were delicious too and for desert I shared a white chocolate banana cream pie , so good !
Service and atmosphere were great. Food was middle of the road. She crab soup was excellent. Grilled octopus was over cooked and the amount of octopus you get for $18 was pitiful. Braised beef was good, but carrots were undercooked. Others in my party had overcooked pork and halibut, with undercooked vegetables.
Ordered the shrimp and grits and it was pretty good. Restaurant was very busy as it was during dinner rush. Great staff team
All I can say is WOW!!! My first time at Southern Culture and I can't believe I've been missing out. My friend and I started with the Iced Coffee liqeour drink without simple syrup and is is a 9/10 great! The drink was plenty sweet without the syrup!
Our son has been training with FightWorks for about 9 months. He has grown so much and really enjoys the instructors and other students. Itâs a very positive atmosphere, which I appreciate as a parent. You should give it a try. You wonât be disap
We had Gaspar for our wedding DJ and he was sooo much fun!! Life of the party! From the first time we met with him and told him our expectations for the wedding, I knew without a doubt he would do a great job. We wanted a DJ that would interact with
