I took my dog there to walk her around. Its a beautiful area close to my house. My dog really enjoyed it down there by the water.
Fun when it snows!! Great place for kids to come and sled!!
Shhh don't tell anyone about this place. It has a great view and so peaceful. The children's museum is right there and there is even an adorable hot dog vendor. There is an area for the dogs to play off leash and the boats are beatific to look at.
Nice boat launch plenty of parking!
Cool place. Lots of open spaces
to do whatever. Picnic, eat your lunch, play ball, toss a frisbee, fly a kite, walk & bike a bit, enjoy the excellent harbor views, go to the Sail Power & Steam Museum next door, and even launch your boat of nearly any size! Awesome!
I've basically grown up here in this area since I turned 13. Therefore as much i hate this place, this is where my heart is. I love this beautiful scenery. Which that can be taken advantage of when your younger but as in get older and I've spent time away from here. I've realized that I missed this crazy messed up town and the views and the smells of the tides....just a miraculous experience..
Us locals call it the south end landing. Great place to relax, launch a boat, walk your dog, or to even come down with a lunch.
This is a place to access Rockland Harbor with a big, dog-friendly field.
The only reason we come to Rockland, is to eat Wasses Hot Dogs! Please remember to bring cash as they don't accept cards. We found this out recently, as after we ordered and handed her our debit card, she casually slides it back and says we don't tak
Incredible selection of fresh seafood. We got a 3.5lb lobster and it was one of the sweetest and tender I've ever had.
Also got 3 of their 4 oyster options, they were also delicious, just wish they sold mignonette!
Came here after seeing the restaurant on No Reservations. It was the ideal restaurant for our honeymoon. Drove up from Portland, Me and it was well worth it. Entrees, appetizers and desserts were fantastic. The Pork Chop was the best Pork Chop I've e
Hazel's Take-Out is a must visit! My family and I stopped by on our way up the coast. I had their Lobster Melt, the rest got the fried clams and Hazel's Haddock Reuben. The Lobster Melt is delicious, stuffed with lobster, and not too strong on the ma
Great food, wonderful staff and service. Their soups were fantastic!! Iâm a soup nut and have to say that their broccoli cheese soup was one of the best Iâve ever had; their fish stew was no slouch either! Sandwiches were freshly made and delicio
Delicious surprise, most restaurant in Maine taste amazing but Sammyâs Deluxe had really unique flavor. Mushroom is asta and halibut dish with dandelion were out of expectation but so delicious. Smoke haddock and alewife is also recommended.
Iâm so impressed with this place! The chef made magic happen for every dish she produced in that small kitchen. I absolutely loved the quality and composition of the recipes. All the protein was sourced locally and even the whipping cream was whipp
Swung by to pick up a bag of coffee beans (beans, not ground) to keep at the house. I only can speak for the coffee and it was great! Excellent bag of beans, bright and flavorful which I love. Tasted great making it at home on the Aeropress. Would de
