Snow King Resort Hotel and Condos - Hotel in Jackson - 400 E Snow King Ave, USA

Great location - walkable to downtown Jackson. Spacious rooms & very clean & comfortable... Was very quiet until couple kids checked in next door & they were loud. Service was pleasant but they couldn't figure out if they offered ride shuttle services or not. The driver of the Snow King Resort shuttle service came up to us while we were waiting on Start On Demand shuttle to let us know they were available, but when we inquired to schedule with front desk, they didn't know anything about it. Start On Demand is Awesome & so convenient. Happy hours drinks are delicious. Overall, 5 Star! ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My stay at this hotel "room" felt pretty average considering your paying the price of a fancy resort. The room is similar to that of a Hilton Hotel. The bed was comfortable and the overall the room was clean, yet it just did not exceed expectations of an amazing resort. Location was decent because it was about a 20 minute walk for 5 minute drive from the town square where shopping and dining is available. I did not do all of the activites present at the hotel, but things I did do were the gondola and put-put golf. The gondola gave a spectacular view of Jackson Hole and golf was a fun. It is PET FRIENDLY which was plus. I noticed that it seemed well accessible for the disabled. The Hayden restaurant served good food. There is a good 24 hour gym and and an outdoor swimming pool. I just wished there was more character to the hotel and towards my stay.

Disclaimer: we stayed here in August. Friendly, clean and convenient. I’d say this is a solid 4.25 stars. The only reason why I didn’t rate this a 5 star is because the bathroom tub floor was cracking. The customer service was exceptional. Rooms were clean and adequate for a 3 night stay. We skipped out on the breakfast because of the price, $22+ per person. Be aware of the resort fee, it’s $37 a night + taxes. Also included is a development tax…whatever that is. Another bogus tax. Remember you get free drip coffee with your resort fee so take advantage of that! The coffee isn’t available until 6:30am. As far as walkability to restaurants and what not, it’s about a 15 minutes walk if not less if you’re active. Overall solid stay, would book again.

Room was clean. Service was second to none. Went above and beyond to make our stay very pleasant. Had the breakfast buffet in the restaurant. Great service with an outstanding selection. I would definitely stay at the Snow King Resort again if my travels bring me back to Jackson Hole. Dave

Sadly, what a disappointing experience. The pictures this hotel posts are gorgeous, and I'm sure that once upon a time this hotel was amazing, but it sure isn't anymore. The whole experience was underwhelming, especially for the very very high price we paid during the low season (may). The hotel gives off the vibe of, this could be so nice, if management just put in a little bit of effort. Sadly they don't. Staff looks bored and unprofessional. Our room was dirty (see pictures). The restaurant is really hyped up by the hotel, but the food is mediocre. View from the restaurant could be good if they bothered to clean the windows. Honestly, we chose this hotel even though it was more expensive, but I recommend everyone to take a cheaper hotel, because you'll get the same level of service you get here.

The hotel is located outside the busy area near the mountain so you can stay away from the noise in the downtown. My room was comfortable with the mountain view. The hotel has a heated swimming pool and also other outdoor activities you can join. The one thing I would point out is the low water pressure in the shower.

The location is perfect, but that's about it. The front desk staff was abrasive when we arrived. They had a problem with their system, which is okay, it happens, but the guy rudely said he couldn't help us check in. We were considering options to pass the time and tried to ask a question about the gondola ride to which again we were rudely addressed with "I can't tell you anything about that, its completely separate." Okay, that's fine, but the attitude is unnecessary. The whole experience was like we were intruders, not guests. The room itself was also disappointing. The furniture was old and distressed, equivalent to a two star motel. The small mini fridge had a piece missing making a large part of it non functional. For over $400 per night, we thought it would have better accommodations.

Our entire experience was amazing- all of the staff is so friendly and professional and they truely want you to have the best time in Jackson hole. Our room was very clean and nice. The only complaint we have was the AC unit was super load and noisy which made it hard to sleep in the night we woke up quit a few times from the noise. The mini fridge in the room is a nice size we just wish the rooms have a microwave in them for leftovers. There is microwaves in the building but they are located in the 2 laundry rooms which we felt gross re-heating our food in a laundry room. We also did the 12 hour Yellowstone guided tour which was amazing! Our tour guide was fun, professional and very knowledgeable. It’s was a great experience and one of our favorite parts of our trip. The only hiccup is they get our food order wrong we had pre selected a gluten free turkey sandwich (I have celiac) and a roast beef sandwich for my husband, however there was a regular turkey sandwich and a veggie wrap that was packed for us. Unfortunately that made it tough for me to eat all day because the snacks that were also provided were not gluten free. I will say the resort Hayden’s post restaurant is not gluten free friendly so I figured my sandwich wouldn’t be either even when I marked gluten allergy in advance. That was a bummer because I felt sick the next day after trying to pick the meat and cheese from the bread to eat, due to exposure. I do think they could improve on food allergy awareness and more options on the menus. Overall great experience! Will definitely stay again if we ever find our way back to Jackson hole.
