Snap Fitness Lakeville - Gym in Lakeville - 7409 179th St W, USA

I decided to get back into the gym to shed some weight, but more importantly to get healthier. I specifically chose the Snap Fitness in Lakeville for the training component and their access to technology like the PNOE machine. I was paired with Bryan and it seems like a perfect fit. I got the 4 weeks of training and was impressed enough to sign on for more. Bryan has kept me motivated and informed and I am now seeing the weight come off as my body is replacing fat for muscles. The best bonus, I feel much better. The gym has plenty of equipment and generally I can do my routines with little interference. The price isn't the cheapest, but the support is extraordinary and is a bargain compared to the higher priced gyms. They have amenities like the spa and also changing rooms and showers if you need them. So far everyone I have met at the gym is friendly and the vibe is cool. This is not a stuffy gym or a playground for kids. I highly recommend not only the gym, but also investing in some training as well.

Ever the skeptic, especially on commercial gym chains, I had zero expectations. Previous visits to other Snap Fitness locations led me to believe that they were dark, unfriendly, dirty places where I would accidentally step on hypodermic needles. Not so with the Lakeville and Rosemount locations. The management invests in their facilities - new equipment, clean and tasteful decor, welcoming staff who don’t scowl at you when you interrupt their work to ask where the bathrooms are. And the bathrooms? The ultimate test of integrity for a public facility? Not a single dirty diaper, stray piece of toilet paper, and absolutely no hypodermic needles. They’re clean, well stocked, and there are more than two. There are even showers in the single stall bathrooms. I started the Alpha Training program a month ago, and I am pretty impressed with that as well. I cannot recommend these Snap Fitness locations enough. It does not matter what shape you’re in, they want to see you succeed. So, although they won’t provide candy and weekly pizza, it’s worth it for the equipment and the awesome people. 5/5 stars.

My experience working with Ashley at Alpha 1 personal training has been so uplifting. Ashley takes a mind/body approach to fitness. We’ve been working together for 2 months and she has really gotten know what my goals are. I now enjoy “me time” at the gym and I am getting more confident and definitely stronger! She’s been so willing to answer my questions when came to muscle targeting, macros, and very flexible with scheduling! I’ve been to both the Rosemount and Lakeville locations and both are nice facilities. Smaller gyms with good vibes - a variety of equipment and programs for whatever you’re interested in.

I started working out and doing the small group training. The classes are great and challenging. The trainers are motivating. I also work out with Callista and she is AMAZING! She is inspiring and pushes me. I love working out with her!

I had contemplated for a couple of years to even ask about the options and services offered at my local Snap Fitness/Alpha1 facility. I had called them at one point, but still did not pull the trigger. Fast forward almost a year after that initial call, I received an email offering a major deal for Halloween. I decided to schedule some time with Melissa and I'm so glad I did. We talked for about an hour and she heard all of my concerns, needs, and wants. I specifically asked her for a kind trainer, one that wouldn't be yelling at me like a drill sergeant... lol. Yet, I also wanted someone that would be understanding of the changes that my body is going through during this stage of my life (peri menopause) and how to help me meet my goals with that in mind. She immediately thought of Ashley, and she hit the nail on the head perfectly! Ashley's been amazing! She makes our sessions efficient, effective and fun. 1 hour flies by and she makes me look forward to my next session with her. Thus far, I can't speak highly enough about my experience overall. If you've been on the fence about the Lakeville location, I'd recommend taking the first step to meet with Melissa and get all of your questions and concerns answered, you won't regret it!

I met with Melissa (owner) at the end of August 2023 in regard to looking into getting a trainer. As I age, I feel like I am getting weaker and don't like it. I was a little nervous at first, but Melissa quickly made me feel very comfortable and at ease. She listened to my concerns and paired me with an awesome trainer Brian. I have been training with him for a little over a month and can already feel the difference. He listens to me and if I am unable to do a certain exercise, he will give me another exercise that's just as effective. I really wish I would have check it out sooner.

Response to owners comments: I visited your gym last week and live in Apple Valley, so don't accuse me of not visiting your gym or not being in the area. Check your records first. You get a 1 star because you have earned nothing more than in my visit last week. Check your attitude towards your customers.
