Smalls Sliders - Hamburger restaurant in Slidell - 1642 Gause Blvd, USA

One of the faster locations I've been to. Sliders are just as good, although a little stingy with their sauce. Fries were crispy and seasoned. Can get pricey when you're ordering a lot, but worth it.

Great little place amongst the hustle and bustle of Slidell shopping and restaurants. Smalls has a very unique look to it. The drive through is surprisingly long, meaning you're not blocking a parking area, driveway, or road while waiting to give your order. Very simple menu. If you want burgers this is the place. Bread is great, burger is delicious. Burger to bun to cheese ratio is on point! Even their own special sauce is good, they even throw on a pickle for an extra crunch. Their fries are surprisingly good. Do you like Arby fries? If so these are even better, larger too. Not too much skin, not soggy or super greasy. They have bottomless soft drinks, 3 types of milkshakes, chocolate, vanilla, and cookies and cream. Lastly they have extra queso to purchase. This is my only gripe about the food. Small container of the cheese was quite expensive for what we got. I believe the cheese was about $1.50. Still good cheese but not worth the cheddar. The outdoor seating area is nice, they had clean seating area with tables, and a couple fans blowing as it was about 100 degrees. Terf flooring. The service was good, but between the traffic and the noise in the kitchen the guy taking our order at the walk-up window and I both had a hard time hearing each other. All in all a nice place to visit for a grab-n-go type of restaurant. Great for parents taking the kids, as there isn't a toy to fight over and there isn't a lot of options, just good food.

First time trying this and was really impressed. We had recently eaten at White Castle in Orlando and we unanimously agreed that this was even better. Employees were very friendly and our food came quickly and was piping hot. However, $1 per slider for bacon seemed excessive and we really wished there was indoor seating. Regardless, we enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back!

Revised the original post. Thank you for the prompt response. I love the food. However, I am not very pleased with the fact that if I order a 3 slider meal I cannot get the burgers done differently. Neither my wife nor I eat very much and the 3 slider meal is more than enough for us to share (and have to waste most of the fries). I tried to order 1 of the sliders plain and the other 2 regular and was told that they all have to be done the same. Not quite what a paying customer wants to hear.

My step-dad brought 6 sliders and fries home for lunch and afterwards we got into quite a conversation about it, and ended up agreeing that White Castle is better. The buns were greasy but not toasted, the meat wasn’t flavorful, which would be okay if there were more toppings, but the homemade sauce (similar to Cane’s,) pickle, and cheese didn’t add enough to the equation. Plus, on a slider, it’s my opinion that the pickle should be relish, as a pickle chip usually stays together on a bite and pulls out of the sandwich. Onions wouldn’t hurt either. It was also expensive for what we got. Fries were good as others remarked, but separate charge on the menu. I can’t recommend this place, which hurts, as it seems like a local place and not a chain, which I hugely respect. Maybe I had a one off experience, but won’t risk it next time due to the prices. Came here to try this Smalls location that is closer to the northshore / New Orleans. Food was perfect, came out fast and hot. Staff was friendly. I ordered a #3 combo with bacon - perfect amount when l'm hungrier.

Absolutely the best tasting burgers we have had! Friendly staff!! The queso was amazing to dip the waffle fries in!!

Saw this restaurant and had to try it. I ordered a #1 and was not disappointed. Real meat, good bun, and the sauce was a great addition. Can't wait to go back.
