Slim's - Fast food restaurant in Brooklyn Center - 6901 Brooklyn Blvd, USA

We ordered 25 wings which cost $45 which is almost $2 a wing so we were expecting some great wings. The wings come with the sauce on the side and they let you choose 4 sauces and any additional flavor is .75 cents so you’d think they would include a reasonable amount of sauce for 25 wings right? No, the 4 sauce containers are so tiny and nowhere near enough sauce for 25 wings! It’s ridiculous! The wings all are coated in seasoning so if you don’t like that seasoning you’re screwed. We also got a large fry which was already soggy and sooo salty when we picked them up. Very disappointed considering how many great reviews this place has…

So we’re new to the area and wanted to try something new, so the hubs and kids said let’s give slims a try, I have pros and cons: Pros: Despite having to go through the drive through it was relatively quick. The burgers and fries amazing, the gyro with the spicy sauce good, the chicken tenders juicy, flavorful, the gyro bowl with the gyro meat and chicken w/regular & spicy cucumber sauce good. Cons: the rice that came with the gyro bowl lacked flavor and it didn’t taste fresh at all, the strawberry lemonade was WEAK. Last but not least the customer service while ordering “ is that it? Is that it? Is that it? Is that it? Is that it? Is that it? For a second I thought I was at McDonald’s 🤦🏾‍♀️🤔😳 I get whole heartedly that we’re in a society that restaurants are short staffed and most workers are overworked and underpaid. We make sure we show our appreciation to those who do show up. With that being said; kindness is a two way street.

The food is amazing. They have the most unique spice on their chicken...so good! They have one of the best gyros in town. I love the Carolina Burger...just great flavor. Hands down the best hand cut fries in town...Five Guys aren't even this good. They also have some of the best shakes and malts around. Chocolate, peanut butter & banana are my favorite...yes, in one shake. The only downside is dining in...which we really don't do anyways. If they were located in a better part of town, I think they'd they would have this issue. But, they're not far from the house, and this makes for a quick jaunt for pick-up. Regardless of the inside, the service is great. They really are there for you. This is a must eat place...for everyone.

Ordered 5 piece wing dinner, spending $17 on food I could not eat . I will not recommend the wings and fries unless you crave salt! My drink was mostly ice, barely enough soda to wash the overbearing salt taste from mouth after just trying to eat 1 wing. They failed to put my coleslaw in the box, I was already half way to St. Cloud so didn't want to turn around. I will definitely not go back! Worst wings I've ever had.

Dannielle was prompt to greet me when it was my turn in line. The steak burger was insanely delicious. My only question is, I was asked if I wanted it to be a single or a double, and I said double and got one patty, so I'm confused. The cheese curds were of high quality, and I'm guessing never frozen. No rubbery cheese, either. The chili cheese fries taste like it's home made. At least the chili part does. All topped with a peanut butter malt that's hard to complain about. The table I waited at was dirty, the decore was different almost 80s, and the kitchen was quick.

They have great food. BUT left out my large fries for 4.99. I literally parked and went right in and the drive thru man stated he gave me fries and he DID NOT!!! I then just asked for a refund and tried to give them right back the food because it principal. They said no and then gave me fries… won’t be shopping there anymore and gonna moss the wings 🥲 Spending 53$ for 25 wing and fries and not even getting it right doesn’t sit right with me

Really great menu for fast food. Ordered a burger, a traditional gyro and fries. Everything was really good. Amazing flavor with the gyro, only gripe was the meat ratio seemed low. Fries were incredible. You're likely not going to be disappointed with much from Slims.

I stopped by this place because a friend recommended it and it was incredibly delicious 😋 had the philly cheese steak and fries and it's the best I've ever had. They have a unique seasoning on the fries and the sandwich is Huge! Everything tasted fresh and I'm stuffed 😅
