My husband and I visited Slice of Humboldt Pie at the end of August. The atmosphere was great! Plenty of indoor and a outdoor seating. We went for dessert - I had the Lemon Raspberry Pie and my husband had the Peanut Butter Fudge! It was AMAZING!! We visited the restaurant on our last night in Arcata, I wish we would have had more time to go back and try the savory pies!! I highly recommend!
Thank you so much to Sam and Patrick for all their help. They gave great service today, our first time to this establishment from the Bay Area! We loved the chicken pot pie and empanadas so much we bought some to bring home! We will definitely be coming back for the great service, pie, and ciders!!
got the pork hand pie and a slice of lemon raspberry; i’ve also had the peanut butter fudge and chocolate silk and they’re all unbelievable!! great crust, great filling, and super cute outdoor seating. love this place!!
Patrick and Kela helped us out. Got chicken pot pie and strawberry rhubarb, and sloppy Joe and corn& cheese. The Squirt and Coke just didn't do justice. Service was outstanding. My CPP was the best I've ever had. It's clean, sorry, fun... Worth the >1 hour drive.
Cool spot with a great variety of sweet and savory pies, and also a nice offering of hard ciders. Indoor and outdoor seating. It was lively on a weekend night
I would go to Eureka just for this restaurant. The gluten free crust is decent (flaky but a little too starchy {potato?} for me) but it’s the chicken and veggie gravy mix that just blew me away. The environment is fun and hip with options for all.
Blueberry pie was loved even the next day. Road trip anyone?!

Looking for some dessert. Had the Chocolate Silk....at first I thought it was frozen. It wasn't it broke off in pieces not silky at all! I could have bought the same apple pie at Safeway but bought the whole pie and it would have tasted the same.
We went for the cider bar which is located in the same spot. The chicken curry empanada was staring at us so we ordered some to go. It was so good that we came back the next day to order some more for lunch. We even picked up a blueberry pie for dessert. It was sooo good and so rich.
Update: We picked up the chicken curry empanada 3 days in a row since we discovered this place. Would have gone more had we discovered it earlier in our trip.

Perfect place for lunch! The best food. The best homemade tortillas! Wow! Yum! Burritos are huge! They are awesome if you have special orders (like no dairy). My order is always perfect!
The cutest ice cream shop I have ever been in! They have an incredible table that's on a swing. You can sit at it with up to four adults and enjoy your ice cream while swinging! They also have the sweet single carousel ride for youngsters. Local phot
Super beautiful park, literally a 5-10 minute walk from Cal-Poly Humboldt. Whoever maintains these trails is doing great, however it is a little stinky right now. Not sure why. Anyway, I love taking my dog here, there's also a super cute skate park/p
