Clean room, basic. Price was a plus. Looks like a fairly recent remodel. Front desk guys were very nice. Nothing fancy. One negative was that the room had a odd chemical odor.
The staff were all very friendly
I was amazed the remodeling activities had no impact on our stay.
We were in town for doctors appointments & while we chose this motel for its close proximity, we were very pleased & won’t hesitate to stay here again.
The bed & pillows were very comfortable.
I loved the shower. I hope they don’t try to fix what isn’t broke.
The included breakfast was very good also.
Room was nice very clean and spacious for one bed room did have a wet/moist smell in the air but love how close it is to multiple shopping areas/activities staff was friendly during every interaction hotel was quite during all hours would come back
Inititially disappointed, I walked into a place under construction. Not appealing in any way. Wasn't even notified before we arrived. I'm used to staying at many choice hotels. So, I had higher expectations. The bathroom was less than desirable. I went and purchased a bath mat for the shower. Scared we would catch something.
I was expecting to walk into a more spacious room, with two queen size beds. Instead, I was greeted by two double beds. There's not much room for luggage.
The outcome from my initial reaction was that I was pleasantly surprised how the workers were so quiet and fast to get the hotel back looking decent. Not once did I hear any noise. Breakfast was decent. Everyone was so friendly, so it definitely changed my mood and experience. Staff was accommodating and always available.
The beds were actually extremely comfortable, and I didn't wake up with an achy back.
I love the proximity to everything in this Plaza. Walmart, Target, different food places. Shoe store, I believe a TJ Maxx there, Marshall's, Burlington Factory only 5 minutess away. There is a men's wearhouse.
So I would recommend staying there. I'm hoping that once construction is done, those little things like showers are cleaner. I would definitely stay there again.
Not a good place, stay clear. Beds had tiny black dots all over the sheets and I found the skin/shedding of a bed bug in the bed. Stinky cigarette smell all night long, air conditioner didn't even work. After surviving to morning, I asked to cancel my second night. The staff didn't even act shocked.
I frequently travel for work and have been a guest at this location for the past few weeks. Prior to my stay, I took the time to read reviews and was aware of the ongoing construction due to remodeling. However, this has not been a disruption for me as I am generally easy-going.
I have consistently experienced friendly and professional service from Bhargav, Gowtham, and Manoj, who are always communicative and attentive to any needs I may have as a guest. I have not encountered any issues with any staff members at this establishment. While I have seen comments in other reviews about potential communication barriers, I believe it is important to consider the ability to speak multiple languages and demonstrate empathy and patience towards individuals whose first language may not be English.
The complimentary breakfast provided is satisfying, and there are numerous dining options in the vicinity. Additionally, convenient access to Walmart, Target, and ALDI within walking distance adds to the appeal. The hotel's proximity to I-72 and S Veterans Pkwy allows for easy exploration of what Springfield has to offer.
Given the exceptional service, affordability, and prime location, I will continue to select this establishment for future stays as needed.
A rating of 1 star is generous. The hotel is under “remodeling”. Or perhaps condemnation. The room we got was a mess but the rest of the property is in worse condition. If you want a truly creepy experience this is the place to stay. A better alternative is to sleep in your car.
Our room smelled like mildew, felt harassed by employee, he made me feel uncomfortable, he was extremely rude & condescending, & he just had a general all around bad attitude our entire stay. Definitely was not worth the money spent.
The employees working when we arrived on 01/17, late afternoon, were absolutely amazing. There was an issue with the dates with our online reservation (my fault) and they were beyond patient and helpful to the best of their ability. I also witnesse
The room was big and spacious it was well as clean. The breakfast tasty but average. Less food than other Best Westerns. The assistant manager and owners did not know how to redeem the promotional gift card from the program that Best Western began a
I love this place ! Just have one minor complaint; they recently got rid of jalapeños and stopped cutting their veggies into smaller pieces - so the chunks are bigger. I usually add jalapeños when I get home and cut my veggies.
Nice people, great coffee (that they roast themselves) and a relaxing atmosphere! They have more than just vanilla for sugar free syrups too! The sugar free white chocolate was yummy. The cream cheese Danish was fresh, tasty and enough for 2 to share
This is an old city experience that reminded me of neighborhoods in old east coast cities like Boston or Philadelphia. It's a quiant neighborhood bar and restaurant with the atmosphere of a 90 year old place that hasn't changed very much. Loved it. T
Delicious ½Ponyshoe Hamburger. Then I couldn't resist the Turtle Cheesecake. Stuffed but happy. Waitress was an absolute delight. I took a picture outside before I went in. I didn't rush out of the truck and I took the next picture of the food sitti
I came here for the first time and it was delicious. I had the chicken and waffles. They were great. Our waitress also did a really good job, even with it being busy.
