Excellent stay!!. Room was great. Comfortable beds. We got really good customer service. Got a full breakfast with a lot of options. We will definitely come back whenever in Mathews.

Great place for the price. Comfortable and clean. Good coffee. I would stay here again. Nice breakfast. Visiting family in the area. Beds were firm and AC was cold. Pool was not working. This is making me type 200 characters and I don’t have anything else to say.

While we generally have had positive says at Sleep Inn properties, this one fell a little below the standard we have seen at other Sleep Inns. Positives are check-in was quick and the room was clean. Clean but appeared dated. Cost of the room was less than most in the area. Negatives...Grout/Caulking in the bathroom was definitely mot done by a professional. Carpet appeared to be worn, Breakfast area obviously was not designed for the purpose it now serves. Very cramped and crowded at the food counters. It was in a corner with a table also in the way. Warm choices did not change from day to day. The first day we were there the bread products were taken away 15 minutes from closing and the people who came in at that point were not able to get those. Only two cereal choices and surprisingly no yogurt which all other Sleep Inns have had. Overall very below average breakfast unless you only wanted waffles. Also, the orange and apple juices were definitely watered down a little more than normal. If we come back to the area we will probably stay elsewhere.

Positive: Check in was easy. Hotel employee is friendly and helpful. Negative: Someone parked their van outside of the front door during the time I was there, leaving nowhere to unload or load except the parking lot. The woman at the breakfast bar did not smile or make eye contact at all during the 3 mornings I ate there.

The location is nice, and the two men working the desk were helpful, as I had to complain 2 times the one night I stayed. I booked a room from Wednesday-Sunday. I checked out first thing Thursday morning, due to the amount of noise that went on up until 4am, the rooms were filthy, and the halls reeked of weed. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels, and never had any issues. I was refunded through the booking company for the remaining Nights, and ended up coming across the road to Comfort Inn. I do NOT recommend Sleep Inn! It’s trash.

STAY AWAY! This hotel was disgusting. I don’t usually stay places that are less than three stars but this was the only hotel in the area with a reasonable rate that allowed a pet that weighs as much as our does. At check in the associate was very nice and friendly. But I just knew I would not be satisfied by the room by how the lobby looked. The lobby was torn down and smelled of piss. As did the carpet in the hallway to our room. The room looked clean at first glance but once we turned on all the lights, we were shocked at how dirty the walls and bedding were. It’s clear that housekeeping doesn’t even try to mask the fact that they are not cleaning these room. The bed sheets had dirt and food on them. When we asked for two new blankets so that we could sleep on one and cover with the other we were told no because there was only two of us in the room. Ultimately we just could not sleep knowing the amount of filth we were in. We checked out the next morning, but not without trying their mediocre breakfast where the staff were not so friendly. Over all, I advise you to avoid at all cost unless you aren’t afraid of bed bugs and other issues that come along with badly cleaned hotel rooms. The only saving grace was that we did get the rest of our money back for the remainder of our stay. I have gone to hotels that will claim they can’t refund you for the nights you booked but choose not to stay.

Their service sucks I reserved a room and when I called to let them know that I’ll be there at 10pm for my shuttle to pickup the guy said they have stopped the shuttle service and hung up. I immediately canceled the booking. Still they had charged me for my room which I never stayed also they had mentioned that they do shuttle service from the airport. When I tried calling to inquire about the payment the guy was like oh and went silent was not replying to me I had to hang up and call back but they had blocked my number or something. This is so frustrating. Really bad customer service.

Positive: Decent price for the room Negative: I couldn't sleep that well because you can hear dogs barking and the pillows were flat. The hotel charges $100 for incidentals, that's too much Negative: ""
