Sleep Inn Gallup - Hotel in Gallup - 3820 E Hwy 66, USA

This place is a little gem. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was rather Spartan, but very clean and included in-room coffee and a refrigerator. The shower/toilet room was separate from the sink, which was extremely helpful in getting everyone ready in the morning. Because we arrived late I did not use any of the hotel amenities other than the (free) breakfast. While all of the typical continental offerings were present, this hotel also has a wonderful cook, and offered omelettes made to order. The biscuits and gravy were excellent as well. This was the first time I stayed at this hotel, and since I’ll be traveling I-40 with some regularity now, it won’t be the last. This is a high-value (cost and quality) hotel.

Had a great experience here and it was cheap for a two bed Hotel, plus it was clean. I will warn you the bathroom is small but besides that the bed was comfortable and the pillows were comfortable (in my opinion) which never happens for me. Oh yeah! and there was no bedbugs but they do have bedbug protecting sheets. The host behind the desk was very helpful and really nice. This hotel does provide breakfast but you have to wait in the morning for The Omelette lady to come if you are wanting those. Overall, had a great experience here in would go again.

Fourth stay in Gallup in 2 months.|We had stayed at the Best Western downtown twice and at the west end one once.|This SI is on the far east end.Walking distance to big gas station and Dennys. Fairly safe location.|This is a busy location probably as the rates are lower than the BW's.|Breakfast is above average but only because of the made to order omlets. Otherwise just average. I would consider this a mid range location but on the lower end of mid range.|We had the std. king room. It is pretty small especially for 2. Shower only but it was a very good shower.|With many good motels to choose from in Gallup,this SI should be one to choose from especially if this is a short overnight and you are watching your budget.

Had a great stay. We were traveling late on our was to see the sequoia trees and Lake Tahoe. Was glad to see the bed when we arrived. Slept great, woke up refreshed. No complaints, had a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at another sleep inn!

Reviews are spot on. Very clean, large rooms, beds and pillows were perfect for the best night of sleep this trip, breakfast provided and omelets cooked to order. However, would prefer to have food available to serve yourself instead of waiting on 1 person to serve everyone. Not really convenient when you are on the go. Easy check in. Traveling with service dog and zero issues. Actually they have a dog area for them. Staff was very friendly. No elevator but easy to manage the stairs. This beats the LaQuinta next door that I stayed at a couple of days ago hands down, it feels more upscale. Reviews said it was a older hotel but I could not tell at all. So far, this is now my choice hotel to stay when passing through town.

Nice hotel, we stayed twice. The room was cramped, but clean. I think it was an older property that they remodeled to make more modern. The breakfast doesn't have all the items that other choice hotels offer, but there is a staff member that will make you an omelet if you want. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, but we didn't use them. There is a Denny's Restaurant across the parking lot, so that was handy for us.

It’s a beautiful hotel, but I can’t sleep in the room. I’m in room 219, the hotel is so close to the highway and the window is not sound proof. It’s like sleeping in your car on the side of highway. I called the front desk to switch my room, but she doesn’t have any other room available to offer. It’s midnight, I drove 13 hours today and have another 14 hours to drive tomorrow, and can’t rest because of the highway noise.
