Sleep Inn Asheville - Biltmore West - Featured Reviews (775)
I was with my mother who is in her late 80's. She and I enjoy cleanliness and that is what we experienced. Also, extremely quiet and very comfortable and safe. Brenda at the front desk was also wonderful. (which I found scarce these days!). The comp breakfast was very convenient. Both our beds and the room overall were way above par.
We needed a room just for the night so we could watch our granddaughter play softball at the area complex.
We first tried to get a room from another well known chain that we have actually stayed at years ago in the past and where the ball team & parents were staying but was very disappointed in their rates, which went up 100 dollars from mid week to the weekend. No exaggeration. And their outside pool was closed to them.
The Sleep in was very reasonably priced in comparison.
Basic room but very clean. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower.
No pool but we didn't need one for this stay. There is a free breakfast but we had planned on eating at Moose Cafe so I cannot comment on it.
Every desk attendant was extra nice, and helpful. We got a free upgrade to a king room and when I checked in I somehow accidentally left my card in the reader so the desk manager called me to inform me as we were at dinner. I very much appreciated her looking out for me & my debit card.
The location was excellent for me because it was very near the ballpark also it was easily accessible but tucked away enough to not hear traffic noise from the road. We were near an elevator but heard no noise from outside our room and was surprised when we went to the parking lot how crowded it was. A very comfortable, quiet nights sleep.
My husband and I stayed one night in route to see our granddaughters. We wanted a budget-friendly stay since we weren’t visiting the immediate area. We were pleased with every detail from start to finish. The location is great, sitting on a hill off the main road, the checkin was quick and efficient, the staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and our room was very nice. I know many reviews mention smells in hotels but I always carry a travel Febreeze or Poopouri w me so we create our own atmosphere. But there were no offensive odors. I noticed things like the hook available in the bathroom, a larger and thicker bath mat than we normally find in hotels and extra plugs for charging devices. The location was super quiet and we had a great sleep. We arrived before dinner time and headed down to the Cracker Barrel (walkable on sidewalk). There’s an Ingle’s grocery nearby as well as we had a few items we needed. They offer a nice hot breakfast that you don’t expect in budget-friendly hotels. Waffle maker and all. Great job, Sleep Inn!! Thank you for the attention to details.
The best hotel in all of Asheville and several other cities for your money. Rooms feel luxurious, but the price isn’t.
Let’s ignore the fluff:
- privately owned (if you have a problem or need moderate flexibility management has always been so good for me.)
- impeccably clean rooms with comfortable bedding and all the amenities you’d expect functioning well (I’ve stayed 3 times and never had problems with bugs of any kind checking in.)
- safe location (it’s a long walk for any vagrant about a mile up a steep incline hill).
You know, there’s no Aria Grande themed motion activated bubbly water dispensers… The breakfast is mostly just grab and go items, there are eggs and sausage but the heater is partially broken so I found them to be cold (don’t pay $50 a night extra for a hotel with better breakfast just go out and get breakfast when you want it.)
You can pay a lot more and end up with bed bugs, mold, $100 deposit, end up with your car broken into because it’s a nice hotel downtown and easy spot to poach, and so much more.. I’ve experienced it.
THIS IS A GOOD VALUE PURCHASE YOU WILL NOT REGRET. Comfy & clean. Peaceful.
Ps: no I’m not a paid comment. They’ve been really solid every time I’ve needed a hotel in Asheville.. Personally always worried a good review will lead to higher prices but 😂 we’ll see… If I was a little less moral I’d tell you all to run away.
I do my research and I’ve been very happy with my stays here. Wouldn’t go anywhere else in Asheville unless I was okay paying almost double, and for what? A pool that you’ll use once..?
Great people work here. Especially Reilly who helped me tremendously. My semi is getting repaired next door and I'm thankful this hotel was here. Don't try to save money at the "cheaper" one's down the way. They are full of no good. Clean comfortable quiet. Most importantly though Great people!! Thank you!
On the particular night I stayed here I had been up since 3am. I had to drive 3 hours to get to Asheville for job training that was all of 8 hours. I had a reservation for a room at another location that didn’t go well and left me out of more than 200 bucks. I went to another location and they didn’t accept my form of payment. So I called around to several other hotels. When I called this location Brenda picked up and I asked her if they would accept my form of payment and she said yes and she also let me know of all the other forms of payments they accept and even recommend that I pay cash if I could because I could get my deposit back at check out instead of waiting for it to return to my card which could take weeks. She gave me full disclosure and the fact that they accepted cash was a bonus because no other place I had been would accept cash. When I got to the hotel and to the front desk Ms. Brenda asked, “Did I just talk to you on the phone?” And I said yes, and she had a room already for me. All I had to do was give her my ID and my payment. She was a bright light at the end of a long, painful, and trying day. And I’m so grateful. In the near future I’ll be traveling to Asheville regularly for business and I will definitely return here. The room was clean. I had no problems with any part of my room.
Stopped in around 2 am and were welcomed in and easily checked in at en exceptionally reasonable rate. At the check in desk I noticed a 99% A rating for sanitation and the rooms definitely showed that. Easy check out (dropped keys in a bucket) as we were leaving one of the staff rushed out to us and brought us a jacket we had forgot. Excellent service!
It's different not seeing a front desk clerk. If you don't see one, you have to do something nearby to get help. Overall friendly. Nice view of the mountains. Need was comfortable. The shower was roomy. If stay there if I had to again.
