Sleep Inn & Suites Smithfield near I-95 - Featured Reviews (892)
Excellent value, immaculate rooms, low rates, comfortable beds. Hotel has large bathrooms with plenty of counter space. Walk in shower is huge. King sized beds are comfortable. For the price, the Sleep Inn is outstanding value. Much cleaner and better kept than many hotels twice the price. My only complaint is that doors should close slowly and not bang. This stopped by 10:00 PM. I will stay at this Sleep Inn when I visit Smithfield once a year.
The King suite with Jacuzzi in the room with the bed was amazing! You can bathe while watching TV!! This is a fun weekend getaway. Shopping and great food nearby. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The hot breakfast was good. I will take toppings for waffles with me on the next trip.
Got mislead by the amount of the good reviews but probably they are bought. The smell is terrible all throughout the hotel. Our room 303 smells literally like urine. The swimming pool looks dirty. The gym smells terrible. The staff is nice and helpful. Location is good if you're traveling but there so many others on the way. Will never book again with them.
This Sleep Inn is wonderful! The room was lovely! Bed was comfortable and very clean! Went to dinner and came back and they had oatmeal raisin cookies! Room was quiet. This place is right up there with the expensive hotels for only a fraction of the cost! I will stay there again if given the opportunity!!
Amazing experience! I went here 2 times while driving the east coast. The rooms are spotless and I haven’t found anything that raises an eyebrow in the rooms. Very good location (food places and outlets are right next to you)! The only minor thing is that the room service can be loud at times but they quiet down at 10pm. Overall amazing place would recommend!
Our recent one-night stay at the Sleep Inn & Suites was decent. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated that the window opened. We wished the room had better soundproofing as were awoken multiple times by the doors of other rooms slamming around us starting at 5am. The pool was open and while we didn't use it - looked very nice! The hotel is a very short drive off of 95 and there are lots of food options nearby. The free breakfast was your standard hotel fare (eggs, pastries, toast, juice, etc.) and the check-in/out process was easy and straightforward. This is a solid choice if you need someplace for a quick overnight stop!
We travel often and often use inexpensive hotels. Before checking in, we carefully study all the reviews. Because we are calm about luxury, but very scrupulous about cleanliness. Therefore, we were misled by the number of good reviews. Apparently, they are bought. But it is better to spend this money on restoration and then people themselves will come in greater numbers. The only positive things that can be said are the polite staff! Of the minuses, and there are many. From the first breath of air in the hotel it becomes difficult to breathe, the smell is very musty and unpleasant. The old carpet and furniture smell. It needs to be replaced and the furniture changed or reupholstered. Cleaning will not help. The same unpleasant smell is in the gym, in the rooms and in the dining room. Shower cabins need to be washed with Clorox bleach, then the cabin will be white and smell fresh and clean, and not damp and moldy. The terrible noise of the air conditioner is bearable, I sleep well. But the fact that for the hotel owners apparently a surprise that the air conditioners must be washed at least once a year, but preferably twice, is a surprise for me! The terrible smell that comes out of it indicates terrible dirt inside and it settles in the lungs! People sleep and breathe it, and this is a lot of diseases! My husband is an air conditioner master and I know how terrible they are inside after a year of work, but here, in my opinion, they have not been washed since installation! The breakfast is standard, like everywhere else! It's great that it is! But I think that some improvements will not critically affect the budget, but significantly improve its quality! You can not buy the cheapest plastic products! The pool is not clean and this is also upsetting! I really hope that the management will stop buying reviews, but listened and make adjustments! I also wanted to add about the shower. You go into the shower stall, close the doors, take a shower and go out. And just a huge puddle meets you. You won’t be able to build a towel for your feet, it will just sink. You won’t be able to go in sneakers if you suddenly don’t have slippers for the bathroom. In general, it’s all very unpleasant.
Hotel including rooms were very clean. Shower was great and enough hot water. I would stay here again. Staff both evening and morning were awesome. Breakfast was better that expected. Hostess in breakfast area kept everything clean and well stocked. A lot of places to eat within walking distance

This hotel is great, the staff is friendly, the aesthetic is inviting. Very clean, and despite welcoming pets it is very quiet. This is a great hotel for families. We tend to travel a lot and instead of the children being trapped in the room between
I stopped while driving through NC for a trip from Florida to Pennsylvania to celebrate Christmas. Sadly, there was a storm occurring during my drive and the visibility during the day made it apparent it would be hard to drive at night. I pulled over
Roses is my favorite place to shop even better than Wally's World. And seniors get 10% off on Wednesdays. Great clothing selection at very good prices. I have recently purchased (at a great price) Bluetooth headphones and speaker that I use everyday.
When I went to Brightleaf Commons I visited Food Lion :-) their stores are always clean, their vegetables are always fresh and I always find a kind face there:-) that's why I shop at Food Lion!!!

I've recently started DJing karaoke here on Thursday nights (8:00pm-12:00a.m) and it is a really cool spot. Staff and regulars are very friendly and if you like karaoke they've got a good-sized stage for you to sing on. I mean they went all out. High
I visit the shopping center about once a week for grocery pickup at Walmart. They have changed the pickup parking a bit to add many more spaces to park and it is even more convenient now because it is at the edge of the Walmart side entrance. Cuts wa
