Rooms are nice and clean , but not aware of the extra $5 charged per night when you get checked in. We were promised that we are getting room serviced the next day. But no nobody came and clean our room and even replacing towels. We have to go to the front desk to get some. Please bring your own breakfast if you are wanting hot plate. Location wise is very convenient . Just need to upgrade the service and the breakfast.
If I could give negative reviews I would. The front desk guy didn’t speak that much English and at one point resorted to google translate. The room was not as nice or as neat looking as the photos from online when we booked. The breakfast is just something they use to scam the guest of money. They only served to items and one is waffles that the machine didn’t work. The tv turned on but had no channels and was there for just looks. The WiFi barely works and the Ac was turnt off when we go here and it’s towards the end of August so imagine the heat smack the face walking in.
So this is one of the best hotels we have in the Newport News Area The manger has exceptional facilities the service was astonishing From the front desk to housekeeping! The stay was like staying with family I appreciate you guys at sleep inn
Pros: Good location, decent price. Cons: Bad service. The front desk was usually vacant. Nobody came to clean our room. There were broken and missing things in the room. Breakfast was just cold cereal, yogurt, and a single waffle maker.
This was a stopover for one night, April 1, 1024. The Easter decor was great. It was all thru the hotel and very much appreciated. I loved the feather pillows and not the foam ones. There was more of a breakfast than I expected - the usual coffee, cereal and muffins - breakfast ham, hash browns biscuits/gravy, plums, pears, apples, and Earl Grey tea!The shower had a removeable wand and hubby says it was installed too low for him. It was fine for me. Windows do open for fresh air. A/C and heat were quiet, room clean, some highway noise but I slept great! One suggestion would be the tv was installed on wall nearer to sofa than the beds. Don't think we even turned it on. Room 406 - We'll stay again :) And I STILL am not influenced in my review by anyone except my hubby
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The service is terrible. The breakfast is sub par (waffle and cereal). The desk attendant is rude and treats guests poorly. The location is within a 4 minute drive of City Centre which is excellent! Overall, if the staff was not so bad, I'd recommend this hotel to those looking for a quick overnight stay in NN.
The facility is convenient to everything. The service sucks!! No hot water! Rude front desk personnel and a funky breakfast of waffles no cereal! Even when we moved to another room the water was still not hot 😡😡😡 I try to support small business owners BUT never again
Viewing five stars is because I went to the best Western plus and Newport News. I booked me a room they canceled my room by mistake. I had nowhere to sleep so I had to search for a hotel room at 12 midnight for me and my daughter a place to sleep the guy name sai at the front desk Gave me a room at one of his hotels at the sleep inn at Newport News they rooms are clean I’m ocd and this place is great and breakfast try it please you won’t go wrong

I was recently a guest at The Holiday Inn Newport News- Hampton (1/4/24-->1/6/24). Upon my arrival, I was checked-in by front desk agent; Ed. He was extremely kind & welcoming...a class act! His professionalism set the tone for a superb stay.Â
After years of excuses and multiple invites from friends, I decided to finally give CrossFit a try. I came into the gym nervous and unsure of myself. I was welcome by Coach Terrence and several athletes from day one and immediately felt like part of
