Sleep Inn & Suites Blackwell I-35 - Hotel in Blackwell - 4530 W White Ave, USA

We stopped here late one night in hopes of getting a pet friendly room. It's a little out of the way and next to a very smelly dispensary, but it has parking for large trucks pulling trailers, which is what we needed. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, plenty of pillows, and we really appreciated that the bed frame was made in a way that our pets couldn't hide or get stuck under or behind the bed! We would've gotten a great night sleep if it hadn't been for our pets having slept the entire trip and so they stayed up and were rowdy all night keeping us awake too. We left early, but it just meant we made our destination earlier.

This is a great place to stay. It’a a newer Sleep Inn, the beds are super comfy, it’s clean and the staff is awesome. The lady at the desk greeted me with a warm smile and had a positive “can do” attitude. She was professional and accommodating after I had trouble getting into my room. Nice place with good people. Will stay here again! Also, there is a McDonald’s and gas station within walking distance

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very old out dated and not very clean. I asked for a sheet to put over the chair because of the animal hair. The tv was small and the design on the wall behind was peeling, the remote was broke. The faucet was loose had to be careful washing your hands . The shower was beautiful though. The outside of the rooms was very clean and updated. The location is off the highway but with an out of the way entrance.

Can’t get a downstairs room unless you have a pet. I understand holding rooms for elderly people downstairs. But not pets. Made a reservation online. Was told I could not get a downstairs room because I didn’t have a pet. The hotel parking lot was basically empty. I’ll give up a first floor room for elderly people. Not pets. If it’s a Choice hotel policy I’ll start staying at Wyndham hotels. I don’t need your feedback from the hotel because you won’t change anything. You lost a customer over a stupid policy.

Any place that allows pets needs to have hard floors. Not carpet. Figured out in the middle of the night that the ac unit doesn't work. The room could use a throughout cleaning, from ceiling to floor. Maybe wash the comforter, giant "white" stain on it...Ew. There is plenty of other peoples hair and pet hair on the sheets. It's fine for a late night stop and for Oklahoma.

The front desk person was great. Was a long drive. When I stopped for gas the gentleman at Casey’s said this was a great place. Glad I listened to him best. It was the best sleep I have had in a long time. I will tell all my friends and family how great the stay was.

Comfy bed, quiet room, nice shower head, adequate plugs and USB. But no soap or body wash. One burned out light bulb, damaged veneer on the desk, broken tub drain - all minor. But breakfast was a big disappointment. No eggs or meats. Only watered down biscuits and gravy, cereal, waffle maker, tiny apples, white bread, basic yogurt (had to ask for it) and poppy seed muffins. Not even any oatmeal. Front desk did not take responsibility or show concern

Positive: The staff was excellent and room was very clean. Negative: Really there was nothing bad about this motel we only stayed one night and was treated very good by the staff, rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this motel to friends and family.
