Sleep Inn & Suites - Hotel in Grovetown - 456 Park W Dr, USA

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an extremely unpleasant experience. The room was infested with roaches, and there was black mold in the bathroom that they tried to paint over. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a refund as I did not feel safe staying there. However, I was told that I couldn't get a refund because the manager was not available. They also informed me that their policy only allows refunds if issues are reported within 10 minutes of checking in, which is completely unreasonable. I would not recommend anyone to stay here. I even have videos of one of the many roaches I encountered. Avoid this place at all costs! I couldn’t post a video so below is a screen shot of one of the roaches.

The room was big and the bed was clean and comfortable. There was still trash in the bathroom and the towels weren't stocked. The fitness room was simply a bike and a treadmill, with highchairs stacked and stored right next to a few bar bells. The pool was clean but the spa that is attached, didn't work. When we asked about it, we were told ( it wasn't required to work ). The vending machine was completely empty which was an inconvenience. The elevator was HORRIBLE!!! It looked like you would catch scabies if you touched anything. The door to our room wasn't any better. It was filthy and looked crusty.

Negative stars. Mystery splatter stains on the headboard of bed. Mystery stains on the sheets and walls, and more (see pics) We booked a non smoking room for 3 days on memorial day weekend and when we got there it was full of cigarette smoke. We hoped that things would be better in a different room but unfortunately that "non" smoking room was just as bad as the first one, and was also very unclean. Went to the front desk and there was a group of people already there with the same issues. Front desk was obviously feed up with having to deal with a bunch of unhappy customers. They told us to call tomorrow and talk to the owner and there might be a slim chance of getting a refund for the extra days even though we didn't even use our first day. So we left and went to a nice hotel. The next day we called and front desk told us to call back later so we waited and when we eventually got a hold of the owner we calmly and politely explained the situation and asked if it was possible for a refund. He not only talked over and down to us but actually yelled and hung up on us. Hopefully we will help someone else avoid this trap of a place.

This was a amazing hotel. The staff was very nice. And friendly and professional. They have reasonable prices. Great location. Extremely clean, very quiet. I love it here. breakfast was hot and good Amazing time highly recommended.

Where do I start speaking about this Sleep Inn!? My daughter's track team and I purchased rooms for the weekend for our track meet. Looking at the lobby it seemed pretty clean. It wasn't that bad for the money that I paid.... At least I thought.... The cleanliness just wasn't up to standard. Not to sound weird but at this point if the hotel is not american-owned, I don't want to stay there! When you got upstairs that's where the problems kinda started. I am a STICKLER about cleaning! It definitely can be CLEANED a whole lot better & more thoroughly. I think it may be a family-owned business which is good, but family needs to do better at the cleaning process. The floors in the hallway had not been vacuumed. The floors in my room had not been vacuumed. I found a piece of a garlic round underneath the sink in the bathroom because the floor hadn't been swept well. I had a half a roll of toilet paper! When we left to go to a meet, the "cleaning lady" came in and"cleaned" our room. I didn't ask her too. I actually didn't even want her too! My dental partial ended up missing when I came back. I had it placed in the bathroom, on the sink. Had she not entered into our room, it would have never gotten lost. I went to the front desk to ask about it, the lady at the front desk said that she didn't speak English. She assisted me in asking her about my partial. Of course she said she didn't see it but I know it was in there when I left. That was a $600 dental partial. Gone!! Walls needed to be wiped down badly. We booked because of the pool!! The pool was NOT AVAILABLE for use! Breakfast was terrible. I was told by one of the other parents that the owner was using his hands to take out the sausage out of the MICROWAVE!! They also ran out of waffle mix. Beds were VERY surprisingly comfortable. I prayed over the linens! The customer service was decent. They desperately need to shape up on the cleaning!!

This is by far the BEST Sleep Inn Hotel I've ever stayed at... Check-in is quick and easy, the hotel is extremely clean, very good location with easy access to restaurants and I-20... For the price, you can't beat the value. It's very peaceful. So quiet you could hear a pen drop on the carpet!! Let me not forget to mention, Venu!!! A Great guy. Very courteous, pleasant attitude and very, very friendly!! He's the cherry on top!! I recommend this hotel to anyone who's looking for an affordable (quiet) place to rest, in a great location and friendly atmosphere... One more thing... They have Samsung Smart Tv's... u easily can screen cast your phone and watch anything u want!! I will be staying here every time I come to this area!! Good luck on your stay! You won't regret it!! That's a promise!!

I travel for work and try to stay in this general area when in Augusta. A few mishaps had me waiting for funds and reservations to go thru. It's 99° out. Super Hot! The gentleman at the counter went above and beyond to help me with no further waiting. I stay in many hotels and the customers service was FANTASTIC!! I recommend this hotel and will be back. Thank you Sleep Inn of Grovetown.
