Great little bar, which facilitated our late night romp out in the area. They were kind and service was prompt. I wrote a review for the wrong bar initially and wanted to rectify it.

Great Sunday crowd! We stepped in to spectacular Irish music being performed by locals along with the best service possible from a dedicated staff. What a Great selections of Irish whiskey, cocktails and beers. Also a cool little kick and that they offer you a vintage postcard there for you to fill out there to friends or family and they will mail it for you at no cost.

My favorite place to grab a drink in Oakland. It has a true pub feeling, not fancy but very cozy. They have an extensive whiskey selection with some really hard to find bottles. The prices are really reasonable too for the Bay. The pork belly and curry and chips are awesome!

When Irish eyes are smiling... Lovely, charming, convivial place, as are most that know how to pull a pint of Guiness. I hear the fish n chips are wonderful and the smells are fabulous. I was so saddened to hear of their impending closure, so I made the 45 min. trek to bid them a fond adieu. I might sneak in another trip or two in the next 3 weeks, just to support a worthy cause (pint n shot for $12!!) ( kilkenny pint for $8 ?!?).

This place transports you directly to the emerald Isle. The instant you walk in the door and are welcomed by some of the fantastic crew you know you are at the right place. The decor is all from the auld country, Irish photos and souvenirs adorn every wall and shelf. The owner came over from Co.Donegal and knew exactly what she was doing when she opened the place! As for the food, 🤗 words can't describe well enough. I will just say that every bite I put in my mouth transported me back my mother's kitchen in Ireland where I was raised. Cooked to perfection and obviously sourced very carefully. Enjoy the varied menu, but it's hard to beat the "Full Irish", a breakfast you will never forget 👍 If you are in the bay area, get on over to Jack London square in Oakland and visit, thank me later 💚

My favorite Irish pub in the bay! The atmosphere and decor of the place is fantastic and the food is absolutely divine. This is the best Irish food I’ve ever had, and a class above any pub food. If you love Irish whiskeys they have 185 available; I’m no expert but they have pretty much every distillery I’ve ever heard of. As for the staff, they are absolutely fantastic. Our waitress, Amber was so sweet, gave great recommendations, and took the time to talk with us during slow moments. The bartender, Lucas, was also awesome! As for life events, have live Trad every Sunday at 4 pm too; can’t wait to check this out. If you’re around Jack London Square Sláinte is a can’t miss!

Yummy food, not crowded, beautiful location, owned by local, veteran bar and restaurant people. The place is also beautiful 🤩

My favorite restaurant in Oakland. If you are struggling to decide where to eat, look no further. The owners and staff are super friendly and laid back. It's the sort of place where regulars are recognized, and you feel cozy starting your first time in. The food is incredible. Even with a smaller menu as the re-opening progresses, my husband and I still struggle every time to choose just a couple things. Everything that we have tried (most of the menu at this point!) is absolutely flawless. The fish and chips are perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The shepherds pie is hearty but not greasy or heavy. The bangers have the crispiest skin and lovely and interesting flavors inside. The chocolate cake is so good that I get it even though I shouldn't. The cocktails are perfect - best irish coffee I've ever had. The lamb sliders don't have words to describe them. Tap selection is small but varied; the beer is high quality. Plus, Magner's cider on tap! Favorite drink while in Ireland. The vibe is wonderful with a variety of choices for seating type and amount of light at the table. The music isn't too loud - you can have a conversation without issues. You can bring a small crowd for pints or have a quiet board game. Go early if you want a seat at the fireplace! Perfect for a rainy day. I've always been able to find street parking without issue, but there is a garage just around the corner. If you actually read this whole review, then you already know it's what you want. Take it from a local that this is the place to go.
