Great beginner trail. Well maintained fire road or foot paths, if you prefer. About two hours to the second flag at a leisurely pace. So many colorful flowers along the paths and great views from Prado to Lake Matthews.
Street parking. No restrooms. Dog friendly. Many trails at this location.
Probably a best kept secret hike. Hikers, not a begginers hike! Take plenty if water, and lunch. To the doppler, it was a beautiful day for 12+ miles. Started at 6:45am, ended by 1pm. Sunday morning, in March 2023 a lil mist, not rain. Full sun, no shade. Arrive early for parking!
This is not a hill. It's a mountain, hell of a climb whether walking or riding. Plenty of other moderate-easy trails in this area. Check out the tin mine trail with the kids. Great MTB training or practice ride. Steep climbs and a great descent. Approximately 1 hr start at Skyline Dr trail to finish at Doppler (based on good cycling condition) however, listen to your body and don't be too proud not to walk. I DID my first time which took 3 hours to go up.
It's a very good trail with decent elevation. Best time to visit is after October just before the winter starts. Try to visit during the morning time when the sun is low. Would not recommend for beginners.
Great hike. Very popular among hikers and mountain bikers. Dogs are allowed on the trail, you should definitely keep them on leash and close by, tons of people and bikers going down holl at high speeds. The further up you go on the trail the less people you'll run into. The elevation gain is gradual so it makes the hike a bit easier. The views are spectacular. Permit parking is required inside the neighborhood if you don't have permit you'll have to park on the main street (W Foothill Pkwy) and walk through a cemented path until you get to the hike. Like I said it is a popular hike and parking is limited. I did notice a couple handicap parking spots inside the neighborhood, I believe it was on Burrero way at the beginning of the actual trail. I would recommend wearing bug repellent there were a ton of bugs.
Nice hike out. Never made it all the way out but this was a nice escape. Coming from Colorado I was hoping to get out for a hike while out here and this did not disappoint. Plenty of places to get a view with the various trails. Along the canyon there was plenty of shade. There was quite a few people on the trail. We really enjoyed getting out with our group.
What a beautiful, truely natural and lush (after the recent rains) place to enjoy nature! The parking is along the street on the east bound side of Foothill Pkwy, there were trash cans, a water fountain, a well paved path to get up into the hills and later, I found several well defined trails. There is a Forestry information board with maps and a little back ground. The canyons have been carved by the small creeks that seem to really fill with rain water and there was a little water yet. I am in search of some small waterfalls that I have heard of. It is my new favorite place to be at and I will be spending a lot of time there.
Incredible hiking + apparently biking experience. As my friend and I scaled the whole mountain, we came across many cyclists that seemed to be having the time of their lives. Although they of course were using a battery assist to propel them up the s
I have been living at Vintage Terrace Senior Apartments for almost a year and a half and I love it here. The office staff, Saika and Raul, are very accomodating and helpful. Saika makes sure that everyone feels welcome and satisfied with living here.
I went to this location the other day after my workout and i had no idea which one to get and i was already tired lol. But the worker Natalia was so kind and was very willing to give me different recommendations on the bowls and explained what each o

This place is a blast from the past. You don't find too many diners like this anymore. The staff is super friendly, the service is quick and the food is excellent. If you are in the area, make sure to check this place and bring your appetite. I
Great spot to grab a tasty old fashioned (made with Buffalo Trace). They also make a pretty tasty charcuterie board. Great selection of whiskey, wine, & beer. There is no food menu, only appetizer sized snacks to order. Side note....The bartend
Crumbles has the best Cookies, Scones, Cinnamon Rolls, and Gelato. They also make pies during the holidays. My favorite is the Scones with Clotted Butter; they remind me of my time in military service in East Anglia. Service is truly amazing in thi

China Fusion is our go to when my family of three is in the mood for Chinese food. We get the large Family Meal Deal. It never lets us down. Always fresh and very tasty. It feeds us for two full meals and one snack day. My husband is a health eater.
We moved to the area two years ago and did lots of looking around for where we wanted to start our son in Jiu Jitsu. EDJ was running a special and within the first day our son was hooked. The coaches are so friendly and so family oriented which was h
