What a beautiful and perfect day 10/21/23 for an awesome and perfect jump! Graduated from a 10,000 jump in Amelia Island a few years back to a 13,500 jump here at Palatka! The additional 3,500 and additional free fall time did not disappoint and was glad for that experience! Shout out to Art the owner, my tandem, who had me LOVING every minute of it!
I had planned on Skydiving for my 60th birthday in July, but unfortunately my brother passed away so my summer plans changed and I didn't think I would be able to do it. But on a pre-planned trip to Florida my wife surprised me with a jump. This place is great! The tandem instructor Angelo was funny, but professional and made sure I wasn't nervous. (I wasn't, but my adrenaline was pumping like crazy.)The videographer Scotty did a great job also and its well worth the upgrade to record the experience. The jump itself was awesome and is so great that about halfway through freefall I found I was laughing my a** off. Before we left I was given a certificate with both Angelo's and Scotty's sigs and license numbers. I was also handed a survey card to complete. Since it was printed on an envelope I figured it was to be mailed in. But after we left I found it didn't have address on it. I now assume I was to complete it on the spot. It also had a note that said "tipping is appreciated but not expected. " I wish I had known that sooner as I was on such an adrenaline high that I didn't look at the envelope for hours. Had I known about tips, both of these guys would have been tipped very well. I highly recommend Skydive Palatka for an experience of a lifetime!!
Art, Bill, and Team of Skydive Palatka are amazing. They work individually with all jumpers regardless of experience. Safety first is in all they do. There is no better drop zone that you should jump from - be it your first tandem or your 10,000th jump.
There are no words strong enough to describe how incredible this experience was! My sister and I recieved a gift certificate for a tandem skydive here, we had never been skydiving, and it was the best gift we could've asked for. The experience was absolutely surreal, if you have never been , there just isn't anything to compare it too. The staff are incredible as well, they are all friendly, have a great sense of humor, knowledgeable, and very experienced. We felt safe the entire time, I never questioned my instructor, I felt very secure the entire time. We had a package that included photography and that is a must have for newbies. Definitely recommend this awesome place, thank you all for a great memory!
Sky Dive Palatka, I want to say thank you! You guys made our jump!! Amazing staff so very family friendly! Our family went on a Sunday with 7 jumpers, and you made each and everyone of our family feel like a part of yours. Art and Billy you guys are amazing. Sport/fun jumpers, make sure you check out Skydive Palatka! Art's staff are great people and the environment is awesome. Saturdays they bring out a PAC-750 and have their home 182 turning loads. We jumped on a Sunday and really enjoyed the casual pace/good vibes. The landing areas are nice grass with pea pits. Packing area is outside and shaded under cover. We'll be sure to stop in every trip to the area. Blue skies!
Today was my very first time and I have to say it was amazing. Such an amazing experience Art was my tandem and made me feel so safe. We touched clouds and landing was a breeze. I will definitely do it again!!
I had the most amazing time! A life long dream come true!!!!! I convinced my 18 year old to go with me before she graduates as one more adventure and she had a amazing time to! The people at skydive Palakta were amazing!! They were super friendly, easy going and made me and my daughter feel very welcomed!! Skydiving has been a life long dream of mine and they made me have the time of my life!! My coach was also amazing! I felt100% safe with him. I was trusting him with my life and he gave me 100% confidence I would be safe!! I felt so good I wasn't even scared when I was about to leave the plain. I hope to jump with them many more times in my life if money allows!!!!! And my coach was really cute. Totally not important to a review but I'm super happy and feel free tonight and figured it would bring someone ready to jump a silly smile!!!!! I 100% recommend this business! Life goes by super fast and you cant go back!! If you dream it pursue it we arn't premised our next breath.
