SKY POINT HOTEL & SUITES - ATLANTA AIRPORT - Featured Reviews (1532)
We were a Late night check in due to our flight being cancelled. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise with having to extend our stay!! Very nice staff. The room was so clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable and two types of pillows if you like firm or soft:) GREAT COFFEE!! And shuttle to and from the Atlanta airport. |I couldn’t have wished for more. |Only downside was the door had a gap that let lots of light in and the sounds from people in the lobby talking loudly in the EARLY AM as we were on the first floor, Room 102.
My son experienced beg bug bites on his leg and arm. The room was musty and smelled of cigarette odor even though we got a non smoking room. The hotel is being renovated on the inside and outside the windows were covered with plastic. The wait time for a shuttle took an hour. We had to be aggressive when boarding the shuttle because it services multiple hotels. I had to Uber in the morning because of the long wait, they charged additional for using a third party booking. For the price it’s not worth it. We only spent 5 hours at the hotel. Book somewhere else if you want to be comfortable and not experience that. The front desk staff tried his best and to service us while there were other people waiting for their rooms. Don’t believe other reviews.
If you need a spot near the airport, shuttle service to/from, and a decent room with excellent service, you're looking in the right spot! I was stressed looking for any spot with available rooms. I drove in 13 hours to find my reserved hotel room disgusting. I refused to stay even after they changed my room! Later, at 8pm, I'm looking for anywhere, found this spot. Very pleased. Plus, I can see planes take-off. Thank you!
*P.S. I leave in a few hours. Thank you. This was a good week. I would be remiss. However, if I didn't mention the added charges, checking in. I will be finding this out!
soooooo let's just say the pictures on the web did not look like this...I had a layover in Atlanta and needed some rest so I booked this reservation thinking I was going to get some sleep.....which was difficult with the construction going on. The lobby was closed off with plastic and there were construction vehicles in the lot.
Now I will say the front desk staff (and maybe a manager) were super nice and friendly. I asked for a room away from noise so she did what she could. The bed was comfortable. That's all I got.
If I weren't so sleepy I probably would have just went somewhere else.
oh yeah and they place has the nerve to charge not only a "city" fee but a "resort" fee..... I'm not kidding a resort fee for what? And I specifically looked for a hotel with free parking and ended up paying $5.00...and additional $50 was added to this "deal"
Make sure you check out the pool full of concrete....I'm definitely disappointed...at the very least they should let people know prior top that the place is being remodeled
Just a bad experience. They’re in the middle of renovations which is what it is but based on how much they’re renovating currently, it’d probably be best to close the hotel down until everything is finished.
The room was very musty, and the bed/sheets were uncomfortable. They give you one micro (I mean micro) bar of soap so make sure you have your own toiletries if you stay here.
The guy at the front desk was decent so there’s at least that positive.
Overall, it felt gross staying here.
I had a pleasant stay here! The location was perfect for what I needed and the girl at the front desk was super friendly and helpful!
I chose it because of how close it was to the airport, however their shuttle unfortunately doesn't pick up from the International terminal! Not a huge deal but it made things a little less convenient.
Rooms were nice and big and everything was well cleaned when I checked in. Would stay here again :)
We had to stay here for 3 days after delta cancelled our flight. The hotel is clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff (reception and housekeeping) are amazing and super friendly. They allowed us to check out late as our flight wasn’t until the evening. They also made a very stressful situation more manageable by helping us out and being kind and friendly.
This hotel uses a bait and switch tactic with booking that comes across to me as very unethical. The rate is exceptional when you book through a third party, then when you show up, they literally charge you a 20% penalty for paying a great price. It seems like they're charging you the fee they pay to the third party. The hotel itself is not great, but it was okay for the price.
I would completely avoid this place due to their unethical practices. The practice may be violating some agreements with 3rd parties or even laws.
The guy at the desk was polite... worth something.

Eden fresh is legit! It now has a hot bar, self-serve candy and nuts, and overall better selection throughout the store. Plus it was super clean with new shopping carts and baskets.
