Stopped in on 11/12/23 while in the springs for a quick weekend getaway. We are always up for a new place and a burger sounded wonder.
This is in downtown Colorado Springs and right across the street from Acacia Park with plenty of shopping around.
We both opted for the Pueblo Farmer with avocado and pepper jack cheese on a garlic focaccia bun instead of the traditional bun. Best choice! Sweet potato fries were awesome as well as the regular fries. It was a huge helping of fries and a burger so big - neither of us finished.
This is in a small shop and seating is limited. They have a few tables set up outside but during a busy lunch time - we had to wait for someone to leave and quickly snatch up the table. Not a bad option to order to go and enjoy across the street for a picnic on a nice day.
Service was good, staff was helpful and friendly- no complaints for me - just a great burger!
WOW! What a burger.
The Classic Skirted Heifer comes with a huge piece of grilled skirted cheese. It adds a nice crunchy cheesey texture to the burger.
If that doesn't sound like your thing then try any other of their delicious burgers, like The Hangover with a fried egg, cream cheese, and Bloody Mary sauce.
The Fries tasted house made, the Heifer sauce is a great burger/dipping sauce.
One of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time as well as very affordable!
I didn’t know anything about this restaurant except I was in the mood for a hamburger.
What a wonderful place!
One of the best hamburgers I’ve ever tasted. It was huge and with some fantastic crisped cheese around it.
I took some home and got another meal out of a single hamburger.
Plenty of options. Friendly staff. Not a lot of seating. I’ll be back!!
Such a delicious burger! My fries were very crispy but it may be a different experience for others. VERY tight on dining but with the turnover time it mostly works-we waited for about ten minutes before a spot opened up for two. Larger parties may have to wait longer. If you sit by the door in the winter, a coat is a must. But an excellent place for some casual family dining!
This was my first time eating here
There was about a 15 minute wait and I was lucky enough to get a table inside. I ordered the skirted heifer and it was delicious!!! I loved all the cheese hanging off the sides. The garlic bun was amazing!! The fries were the best I have ever had!!! I wish there was a restaurant like this where I live in Texas. I had Lemonade to drink and that was also very good. Next time I'm in Colorado, I will definitely come back!!! 5 stars all the way!
Tight on seating, but worth the wait.
The burgers were excellent. The cheese spreading around the bun is just so so good. Highly recommended.
We visited on a Sunday night for dinner. It had been years since we last ate at the restaurant. Everything was how we remembered it.
I had The Veg Out (Quinoa Burger) with sweet potato fries and my husband The Hangover with Belgian fries. We had the handcrafted lemonade to drink and split the meal with our toddler. Note: the quinoa burger has egg so it’s vegetarian but not vegan friendly. And all of the sauces, minus ranch, are dairy-free.
Indoor seating is limited. If you have small children, I would advise against strollers since there really isn’t a place for them. There’s a patio with a few spots for outdoor seating when it’s warmer.
The vibe, low lighting and nice music, is really chill. If you like the downtown scene, it’s a nice joint to check out. We will be dining again there soon!
This place is a must visit for anyone who loves burgers. I've been coming here for years and every time I come I always leave wanting more. All the burgers are excellent especially the burgers of the week, and the fries are the best I've ever had. I couldn't recommend the skirted heifer more.

I recently discovered a gem of a burger joint that's a calorie enthusiast's dream come true. This place takes burgers to a whole new level with their massive creations that are practically a work of art. I couldn't believe my eyes (or my taste buds)
My bride and I enjoyed our stay immensely. It took a lot to coordinate a wedding and therefore didnât get to spend as much time as we wanted to at Chateaux as we wanted but the evenings were filled with romance due to the ambiance of the house. Th
I have loved going to cambio for over a decade now. The teachers are knowledgeable, consistent, and have amazing flow (thank you, Caleb!). I donât think I wouldâve survived these past several years being back in Colorado Springs without the studi
