What a great playground. Brought the grandkids here for some afternoon fun. Plenty to do. It was very busy with many parents and kids. Lot to do, it’s in great condition too. The ground areas are very well padded making falls easier.
It’s nicely maintained, thanks Stow!
A new fenced large playground with a big jungle gym, zip line, sandpit, swings, water fountain for both people and dogs and new public restrooms. My kids love it! It is a very popular play place for kids, which means it's super crowded, too.
Took my grandkids here and it was like an amusement park for free! The equipment was top notch! ( except for the sand diggers which seem to be too heavy, clumsy and a little dangerous. too bad it was a cool idea) The fake grass turf was a nice touch being a little spongy and is a soft landing for falls. There is a small low to ground zip line for kids but still exciting. an in ground merry go round, cool climbing spinning gyms, beautiful musical instruments. Numerous activities for handicapped kids as well.
This park is a very nice step up for the typical playground. There are many activities for children, which include a size specific merry-go-rounds (one of each for toddlers, young adolescents, and older adolescents). The main attraction is the two story bridge that connects the multiple climbing sections. There is a return-zipline (jump from a platform, and sail down the line just to be bounced back to the start) that typically has a line due to the excessive amount of patrons at the park. They also have a full 'ninja warrior' course scaled down for children. The parking lot is not very big, but there is overflow parking a bit farther down the road. The police department is on the property, so the safety concern is fairly low. The greatest personal issue is the local ice cream truck route. It's understandable that public areas are subject to these types of solicitation, but for children, the hype that 'everyone else gets some' may cause some distress, so fair warning to those who have those types of difficulties with their youngins. Annoyingly enough, the 2 hours that we spent at the park, the truck left its tunes on repeat for nearly the entire time. Overall, I encourage all my friends, family, and those in my neighborhood to take the drive to Stow and check it out. It's likely your little ones will nap on the way back, so pack a light lunch for breaktime between fun times.
Had a lot of stuff to do...big and small kids. It does get crowded easily. Kids had fun!
This park is amazing! The amount of activities if offers families with young kids! My twins love it their favorite activity is the zip line they have! And my biggest favorite of the park is that a fence is all around it and it’s safe!
Wow! Very nice! But very very busy. Took a 1 year old and a 3 year old, wouldn’t go back without another person to help me watch them.
Brand new huge playground! Kids had a ton of fun! They even have a zip line!
I take my dogs here all the time. The dog park is large and fenced in, giving them plenty of space to run unrestricted. The pond in the center is deep enough that dogs can swim if they want, but it has a fairly low slope at the edges so they can just
This is my favorite pizza place in town! Always greeted with friendly staff and the food never disappoints! Iâm a sucker for coleslaw and Alteriâs is so fresh and to die for. The BBQ Chicken pizza, fried chicken, and jojoâs were so fresh and de
It's been a few years since I last stopped here that I forgot how good the burgers are.
The Galley boy is the classic burger from here and never disappoints. That combo of barbecue sauce and tangy tartar sauce is a win in my book.
