Really nice place. Very peaceful at the time we were there. Our walk was extremely nice. And the fresh blackberries are very sweet.

Cute park with a massive playground and open areas. The real gem are small pathways thru the treeline down to the water for a secluded spot to hang in the shade and listen to the water

The hubs and I meandered this pretty setting while passing some time. The soaring Doug Firs, the rhododendrons, the low laying native plants, are all so beautifully taken care of. My favorite was watching the squirrels create and live in their sweet habitats among the snagged trees that have been purposefully left behind. The park really is a great spot to meander, take in a view, and exhale a bit from the busy.

This is a beautiful park. The design is creative. The playground structure is about three floors. Younger children need to be supervised if it's their first time. The Willamette river runs along the park. There is a water fountain for children to get wet. There's a sand play area. It has plenty of parking. This kids can enjoy multiple activities. There's picnic tables, benches and plenty of grassy areas. It has multiple activities. Make sure to check out their website. It has rock climbing, fishing, biking, hiking, and so forth.

Loved the trails! Some are very easy and some are hard. Was a perfect 2.5 mile walk with great vantage sights! Only downside is litter and graffiti bit it's a hiking butte in the middle of the city do not much one can do.

This area offers so much! There's the impressive River play park with lots of creative play structures. If you're feeling less active there's spots to lay down a blanket, benches to rest, and picnic tables nearby the playground to enjoy a snack. We also enjoy the 20 minute hike up Skinner's Butte. The trails are well maintained and there are several trails winding around the Butte. At the top you'll enjoy the many view points and benches. If you don't feel like hiking you can drive up to the top. If you're a bird lover you'll enjoy seeing the Bald Eagles that nest on the Butte, the Downy Woodpeckers, and the Turkey vultures to name a few.

Nice trails with a wide bike, pedestrian path that runs along the Willamette River. The site is well treed and was clean the day we visited. There is an upper loop with an incline plane that I need to return and check out. My wife was all walked out at that point and we forgot the dogs water so we returned home. Be aware that there is a designated homeless tent city at one of the parking areas. It's okay with me if it's okay with you.

We love this little special place above Eugene. My 3 year old loves all the mushrooms we even spotted a Woodpecker in action! Nice trails, not too muddy and the tree tops shields some of the rain. Others had great trail edict. Great family hike, or fir a run.

It's a great park to walk. Right next to the Willamette River, the mixture of green and bubbling clear water create a very nice environment for a walk or bike. Across the bridge is the university of Oregon, and many office buildings. Great area to re

Lovely little jaunt in South Eugene. Typically quite clean, somewhat vertical and parking can be a bit tight at the bottom of the trail so arrive early or be lucky!
