Skate City Aurora - Roller skating rink in Aurora - 15100 E Girard Ave, USA

Nostalgic. I used to come here when I was a kid 40+ years ago. It doesn't feel like it's changed much, but it didn't need to. The arcade had updated games, the concession stand was more than adequate, and the skates were not the old musty tan ones with brown laces we're all used to. The seating area next to the concession stand was actually quiet due to the fiberglass boards surrounding the rink. A lot of programs have been added, and there are lots of events and special skate nights. Things like speed skating, Beach night, and inline hockey were not around when I was a kid. Such great memories of this place.

The skating is fun and the price is decent. I made sure to call ahead and ask if my daughter could bring some brownies in for her birthday, as we didn't book a party since we only had three kids coming and didn't need to book an expensive birthday package. I was told yeah, no problem, just no outside drinks. That's a lie. They will not allow ANY outside food or drink. My 10 year old daughter and get friend had to eat her birthday brownies in the lobby. I'm sure they felt awesome. Won't be patronizing this establishment again.

I was so excited to go to Skate City as it brought back some childhood memories. However, it was nothing short of a mediocre experience. I treated my son, friends and family for his 11th birthday just last minute birthday shenanigans. I wanted to order a few Beef HotDogs which they were out, so I went with a few pizzas that just didn't taste that good. I was over charged admission at the door and once I did the calculation and asked just simply for my refund, I was informed they never issue refunds only free skating tickets.🤷🏼‍♀️ The kids enjoyed their selves which is why I'll let it slide and give a 3 star otherwise it would be a hard 2!

Birthday Fun for the little ones. I was shocked at how many parties this location does. The staff was awesome and attentive. The young lady had her team running like a well oiled machine. The Pizza has gotten so much better. Now of they could just keep the games fixed.

Nice place to have fun ! Kids love going here. You can rent roller skates or roller blades here and you can rent trainer walker (for the beginner). One session is 2 hours and you can add more time as you like. They have games in between and you can have birthday parties here. Recommended !

Tatiana has been an amazing person each time I've visited. She supports wherever needed and always seems to handle each request quickly with grace and class. She's the reason for the 5 star review.

I love this place, the staff loves working there, it’s cheap, they’re always doing fun events. This place Is amazing!

So much fun. Everything is clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Me and the kids had so much fun, we’ll be back!!
