SK8 House Virginia Beach - Roller skating rink in Virginia Beach - 600 S Lynnhaven Rd, USA

I recently had my son’s birthday party at SK8 house and it was by far one of the worst experiences I have had while throwing a birthday party. I had high hopes as I come skating there quite regularly. I booked the party and I had someone reach out to me to get our food order. The day of the party we were instructed to show up 15 minutes early to set up. When we arrived we went to the desk and the person running the desk had no idea about our party and had to go find someone else. When they came back they handed us a basket and said you’re in the blue room and that was it. We were confused but went and set up. We had adults wanting to place food orders but were told that the kitchen was only there for the party and that if they wanted to order more pizza they could but it was going to be added to my tab. After about 30 minutes after our start time everyone proceeded to ask where the food was we had no idea where our food or drinks were and had to go to the desk and ask and the guy told us that it comes out 30 minutes after the start time and it should be coming out. After a few more minutes the food finally came out. At around 730 they came back and told us if we didn’t want to order more food the kitchen was leaving so we were like okay I guess we’re fine. After that nobody else checked on us at all. We had to go and ask for more trash bags so we could clean up ourselves. You know with paying nearly $400 we expected a little more than just being sent to a room and never checked on. I called the day after to speak to a manager about our issues and had to leave a voicemail and we still have not heard back. We will never be hosting a party at SK8 house again.

First time here with a bunch of people and we had a blast. I love that there's places to eat/drink and a decent sized arcade along with the skating rink. Great music and great service. They don't offer rollerblades but I brought my own since I'm not a big fan of rollerskates.

3/22/2023 - This place is pretty fun for skating or other activities. I have been here twice now. The first time was during the weekend which was a bit busier but not too crazy. They have arcade games, mini stores/food, skating, and there is an escape room. When I first went, they only had the concrete floor. The second time I went they installed wooden floors which were sooo much better. The skates are in men's sizes. They are super nice about returning them if they don't fit so you can get your right size. The skating prices are decent pricing. When I went the second time it was Monday night (3/20). We went around 7 and all of the shops were already closed. I am not sure what their schedule is but I remember the first time going they closed pretty early too on a weekend. I also think it's odd there is no one attending the skating floor. Some kids were running back and forth without shoes on on Monday night. It was pretty dead but still concerning. I also remember on the weekend when I went people going in all kinds of directions. I really love the décor of the place as well and the music selection is pretty good. The weekend night I went was 90s music themed. Lastly, there is a small skating section for practice/little ones. They also have support racks for the little ones too. Would definitely recommend stopping by this place!

Space was excellent.. Need to improve long time at least 2 hours. We was the last party of the day. Why was we rush out the room. Hospitality was awful. 2 out of 5 vender machine was working. Overall my daughter party was everything to her.

The SK8 House is a great skate rink. They have a great selection for food and drinks. A great family atmosphere plus they have a small rink for the littles. All around a fun place to spend quality family time.

Great place!! FUN FAMILY TIME!! Highly recommend this place!!! Great atmosphere, great food, drinks and delicious ice cream stand. Fun for all ages! This is our new favorite spot for family fun! They even have happy hour, so as the kiddos are skating the parents can enjoy an adult beverage. Staff was very attentive ensuring we were taken care of. Very clean. We closed the place down. Will definitely be coming back!!!
