Six Flags Darien Lake - Theme park in Corfu - 9993 Alleghany Rd, USA

I'm coming here since I was a young child about 40 years. Love this place, family oriented New attractions spectacular laser light show that's wonderful for the whole family. I come here a year after year sometimes multiple times a year. Great specials when you can catch them. Absolutely love the new food and drink packages

The price is good if you can get a good deal on a season pass. Otherwise it would be a lot, especially considering the $25 to park for the day (for a one day ticket). Some things I loved: family area with family restrooms, lockers available for short time periods at a low price, lots of fun coasters, sensory ratings on each ride, ability to pay for everything with a credit card (if you only carry cash you'll need to exchange it for a card there to make purchases in the park). Some thoughts and concerns as a mom of a kiddo with special needs: The family area was super flashy and full of pay-to-play machines, so not great if you're looking for a sensory reprieve. SO many things cost extra money. Instructions at the beginnings of rides were almost entirely incoherent (maybe different mics needed?) which is not great when individuals depend on explicit instruction. Safety guidelines seemed partially dependent on who was there. No bags allowed in line for the Man of Steel (pay to store it or leave it in public cubbies outside the ride; not great when extra equipment or medications are needed). No maps available to carry; combined with a large park, that makes for a lot of walking. My son can't wait to go back. We will go again. I think we will be better prepared next time to handle some of the difficulties.

It was awesome coming here again. I used to every year when I was a kid. The rides are still exhilarating, and when I went (Saturday before labor Day) it wasn't too busy. The end of season pass is a huge deal too, and we will be coming back next year. I cannot recommend the food, however, as the prices are insane. A fountain drink at it's cheapest is $6 for a regular size. If you aren't planning on eating/drinking the food here though, it isn't hard to come on a budget.

Such a disappointing visit considering the $70.00 ticket price and then another $25 for parking. Purchased 4 tickets to Darien Lakes Freight Fest for 10/7/2023. There were only 4 roller coasters open and available. The staff were subpar at best and had ZERO sense of urgency to anything or was even friendly. Walked through the “scare zones” multiple times and not one person was interacting with guests. Our group saw NOT ONE person out scaring/interacting with people in wait lines, out on the roads, intersections, etc. until we walked out at 10pm, despite what was advertised in the photo. You had 3 (at best) people dressed up as people walked out of the park at 10pm. Purchased 4 different “basket meals” which weren’t even cooked, cold and didn’t even get what we paid for, that again was advertised. Lids weren’t even an option either for our drinks. It’s such a shame you charge what you do during Freight Fest when it honestly was just another random trip to Darien Lake with Halloween decorations. Save your money!! This was absolutely not worth it at all. Not sure who in “in charge” here but your whole amusement park needs some re-vamping on all levels!!

Took the kids for the day, good deal if you buy at the end of the season and get season passes, it includes all of 2024. We also got the food plan that gives you 2 meals each visit. At $18 a meal it pays for itself after 2-3 visits. They have some great roller coasters and a very cool waterpark. If you catch a concert it’s a great venue too and best part you can stay there by camping or in hotel. There is also a very cool ice cream place close to Darien Lake, they had the best non-dairy ice cream I have ever had and the sizes were huge! Just make sure you get it on the way home if you get sick from roller coasters ;).

Our family really enjoyed our time at the park! There were tons of rides for our young child which was great. My husband bought the unlimited food option which allowed him to get different options every 90 minutes. A really awesome feature. We will return for sure!

It’s a cute little park with a good mix of thrill & fun rides for a family. Lines were nice & not too long , we got to ride some rides a few times with the low wait times. Some park employees were super nice , especially Luke who was running Tantrum while we were there

It was a great day with my son and his friend. My son is autistic and the one drawback is the noise. He doesn't do well with loud noises. We ended up just staying at the wave pool and Hooks Lagoon. Going deeper into the park was tough for him so we just went back and forth between the wave pool and Hooks. As with everything nowadays the prices make you want to puke. Also wish the park was a little cleaner. Lots of garbage and food on the walkways.
