This place is an OK gym for kid's boxing lessons. I called the number on the website before signing my son up for boxing lessons to ask a few questions. When we showed up for the first practice, I spoke with the owner, and he didn't remember our names, but did remember that we were a "payment call." Needless to say, that didn't really sit right with me and sort of turned me off. My son went here for a few weeks. The instructors varied from the owner himself or another adult, down to teenagers giving lessons. We showed up for practice one day and the owner said they were going to go play kickball in the park. Not sure what that had to do with boxing lessons, but we didn't go back after that.
Family vibe, everyone is friendly and it didn’t take long to figure out the coaches actually care. Coach C and coach Pops try to bring out the best in training and they make it fun for the kids. However it’s up individuals to put in the hard work. Worth every penny and my 12 year old loves the coaches, teammates, and environment. The gym has a hometown feel to it not the big box gym corporate vibe. Would recommend to anyone at any level and any age.
This gym has been life changing and I’ve only been going for a week. Coach Fort wants you to get better and pushes you to do your best. I’ve worked harder in a week at his gym than I ever did at any other gym. Great environment too. I highly recommend this place for anyone that is serious about getting in shape or getting into boxing. I wish I could give it more stars.
This gym is alright, I learned a lot in a few days i guess. But wasn't worth the amount that I paid for. This gym is really small, cluttered with equipment, and has no set schedule for training classes besides the kids classes & bootcamp thats overpriced. You basically come in when you can and do whatever they tell you to do which seemed very unorganized. Basically paid money to do regular workouts instead of learning any boxing. It didn't really give me that feeling of fun and motivation. I only saw 2 coaches in there and they were mostly on their phones hanging out and don't seem to really care about you. Felt very unprofessional to me personally. Sadly won't be coming back anymore. *UPDATE July 2022* Since this review I've been attending a new boxing gym called "Minnesota Top Team". I don't need to explain anything, just go look at their reviews on google and you'll find everything you need to know. Sharing just incase people want alternative options.
Love the energy and the training I did with the coach and other people in the gym. It's definitely worth it
I love this gym. Helped me lose weight and get into shape. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is needing a fun way to get fit. Coach Sir is a good teacher. The gym also has a friendly environment to it.
If you're looking for a gym with serious competition and hard work, this is the place. Trust me you will be surrounded with the best people out there always pushing you to your hardest and further. The trainers there are super friendly too so don't be afraid to come in and ask questions. I've only been here for 2 months and I've learned more than any other gym out there. Best in the business hands down. Don't believe me? Check it out!
I love it at this gym! It has a diverse group of people with a family oriented environment. Cerresso is the head trainer there and with help from him and the other coaches there I won a world title and beat national champions in boxing. I'm constantly growing and getting better from being at this gym. I highly recommend it!
We had my sonâs 11th birthday party at D1 and Kris and his staff did not disappoint! The kids had such a blast the entire time playing dodgeball, tug of war and football as well as racing each other pushing the sleds. They were all exhausted when
Just overall lovely experience. Service was friendly, attentive, informative, engaging from host to server to busser to chef. The menu is small so we probably ordered 50% of it...all were unique, delicious and photo-worthy (as with the cocktails). A
I love core power yoga and the highland park location is one of my favorite. You are always greeted by a friendly face and some of them are really good with names (I noticed this after my first week, a couple of instructors remembered my name which I
Have come to really love this gym. It's a smaller facility, but the equipment is wisely selected - plenty of cardio equipment and all the weight equipment you need to do some solid training.
I've been attending off and on since 2010. The instructors are the reason I keep coming back. They're compassion, wisdom and skill shine through with every genuine interaction. I hope to be able to keep coming into my 60's, 70's and 80's!
I was honestly terrified to go to my first OTF class, because I was worried being out of shape and surrounded by super fit people would intimidate me, but the staff and coaches at the Grand Ave location are nothing but friendly, helpful, and kind. Th
Great cafe! Their coffee was delicious and the barista was very friendly and nice. It is a nice place to just sit and chat. I'll definitely come back whenever I'm in the area!
As a person with Italian heritage and a dedicated pizza lover, please understand me when I say this pizza is incredible and some of the best there is! Whether you like authentic original Italian (paper thin), Chicago deep dish, Detroit style or any
Had the pleasure of getting married here! Absolutely gorgeous setting in Saint Paul. Working with the zoo and conservatory was easy and the staff had great communication. Canât wait to continue enjoying the location for years to come!
I ordered a sausage/pepperoni, light cheese and well done. There were tons of toppings and the pizza was cooked exactly to my liking. The owner was very personable and friendly. Mamas is takeout only, I highly recommend it!
