SIP - Bar in Charlotte - 200 N Tryon St, USA

Another bar is located in uptown. This one feels a little bit more classier than some of the other dive bars in the area. They do have bouncers in the front and also that check ID. They have a cute tree inside with lights, which made the bar feel more chic for myself. They have a lot of tables to sit as well as seating in the bar. The bartender was super friendly and efficient. Came on a Sunday, and it was fairly empty. Of course we went during the day so there's not much of a crowd yet. The bathrooms were super clean but super tiny! Only two stalls and the sink are located right in front of the door to a stall so it can get hectic. It's not a bad bar and wouldn't mind coming here next time in the area. Since this is in uptown, of course, parking can be a hassle.

A small, brick-lined cocktail lounge with beer options as well. Several TVs for sports, & some patio seating. Bar-service only, when we visited, & we were informed there was no cocktail menu…at a cocktail hangout. Outside food is allowed. Wheelchair accessible.

I don't know what to really say about my night other than they got the shooting right there. I was literally running for my life. And seen someone laying on the ground. I later looked up that four people who got shot but no one in critical condition. Thank God. The place is kinda small upstairs and down. The music was like Jamaican and Latin which was ok but people were doing the most. They put at least four people out for pushing. So I figured it would go left once outside. They had an outdoor patio area which was cool. The atmosphere is not something I want to be around so no thank you for coming back. That's just my experience.

Great place for an after work drink or check it out on the weekend for a good place to hangout, drink, and meet some people. Every Tuesday is Tini Tuesday and they feature 3 different martinis.. they come up with some amazing cocktails. I love coming on Tuesdays. They also pair the martinis with tint bites featured by Chef Son. So much fun.

Great spot. Staff took great care of. You can sit right in the front overlooking the street and people watch for hours. We went back 4 days in a row when visiting for Thanksgiving. Gets busy and they start charging a small $5 cover for men at around 11. The downstairs opens at 11pm also. Reasonable prices on beer. Good drinks. Must visit when going to Uptown Charlotte.

Small, cute bar with good music! Went on a Sunday during the day so there wasn’t really a crowd and enjoyed it. Great drinks and great service!

Inside , outside seating with loud music gearing up for late night crowds. Nice local beer served.

Be careful when using your card here. AND ask for specific pricing I was told one price, the register shut down supposedly. Next day I checked my account and was charged HIGHER price than what was told to me. BE AWARE for overcharging. BRING cash don’t do no swiping here!
