We love Sioux Park! The kids love the pool and we don't mind it either! They have a really nice play ground and a really nice track to run on. Beautiful paths along the creek and a wonderful botanical garden. They also have tennis courts and soccer fields.

Sioux Park is constantly evolving with new equipment and things to do. I had not been to this particular section of the park (Entrance off of Canyon Lake and Dakota) for several years and I was truly amazed at the updates. Lots of families with their children playing on the playground equipment. Some people walking along the creek and some just sitting and taking in the view. Very nice area.
Awesome space for kids and adults to get physical activity in! They have a track for running, soccer fields, playground, and basketball courts. Restrooms are also there. This place can get busy when it's nice out. You'll see Frisbee, people tossing a football, basketball, etc. It's a nice location!
Both my 6 year old daughter and I love this park! There's a friggin tight rope pit with balance beams and a wobbly metal thingy, and nobody complains when I sing Stevie Ray Vaughn (lyrics AND guitar💅) There's a beautiful creek running through, horseshoe pits, grills, playgrounds for big and little kids, and gnarly old trees.
Super cute park on west side of Rapid City. Great place to take smaller children who love to run around. Lots of open space to enjoy social distancing. Creek runs next to park so fishing is fun here too.
Overall great park. I love that it has the false grass. I only wish that they had more swings. They have baby swings but the big kid swings are in a whole seperate area about a block away.

Nice little park. Stopped here for an hour or so walking around before heading to the airport. Got a nice creek passing through it . There is also a small pond where I could see people fishing. It's also got a playground where children can play.
