My last time I had a chance to eat at Sinaloa they were in business on Waterloo and it was their last day of business. When I found out they reopened in Guthrie it was just a matter of time before I got a chance to eat here. Today was my lucky day! After a doctor’s appointment we made the decision to drive to Guthrie to have dinner. We were there in mid to late afternoon and no was in the restaurant. It was rather nice to be the only ones there! Our server Leslie was fantastic! She provided the help we needed in ordering our dinner! I chose the Carne Asada Burrito and at first I thought hmmmm a burrito but has no sauce. Turned out to be a great meal, it was stuffed with cheese, rice, beans & meat! Very tasty’ My wife chose the Birria Quesadilla’s - curly better than my meal! So much flavor and oh so delicious! I did ask for flour tortillas and relish and to my surprise when I received sliced radishes & cucumbers. Both of which were very fresh yet not what I expected. Instead it was a good twist on some thing I never had before. It was a great dining experience and I would definitely recommend trying this place out.
Welcoming atmosphere, clean, cozy. Excellent service. Food was delicious. I got the Jeff’s way breakfast burrito and it was an excellent sized portion and tasted great. Burrito was also plated amusingly which was kinda fun. Priced low to be honest which is a great thing as a consumer. Definitely will be returning.
“Sinaloa,” that is a familiar name, and this is their “Signature” restaurant. Can you say El Chapo? If you dined in down town Guthrie a few years ago, you will remember Stacy’s Place. Same cool old building. It is now Sinaloa, advertising its food as “Authentic Coastal Mexican.” For me, not knowing what coastal Mexican food is, I couldn’t tell you if it was, or not, but the natural assumption would be a fish and seafood-based menu. It seems to be that. The “Tower” is the colorful stack of seafood and vegetables that got my attention. Not a meal I would normally order. Unique to me and worth a try. It is a simple combination of shrimp, octopus, crab, cucumber, red onion, tomato and avocado, forced into a shape of a cylinder than flooded with lime juice. The seafood was fresh tasting and the vegetables were crisp. The tart lime juice made for a tasty seafood salad. The shrimp and octopus were identifiable, but the third seafood participant which was said to be crab did not look or taste like any crab I have had before. It tasted fresh but the texture and appearance didn’t match my experience with crab. Maybe it was some type of crab found only on the west coast of Mexico. I don’t know? I enjoyed the meal more, after a liberal application of the salsas that came in the plastic squirt bottles. My wife had a Chicken Quesadilla which was Meh. Overall, not the version of Mexican food I seek out. Then there is the credit card fee, which is getting a little irritating. The Mexican restaurants especially, have been doing this for reasons I believe are other than their stated excuse. 4%, 4 pennies on the dollar. Just raise the prices. It will go unnoticed. If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection "Jalapeno Highway" on Yelp. I've probably been there.
We walked in after driving by and noticing while on our way to another local restaurant. We are glad we did! This place is SUPER clean and has a great atmosphere, but best of all the service and food is outstanding! The server told us the breakfast burrito was large so we decided to split it. They were happy to divide and serve on two set up plates and it was perfect. Coffee was very good and even with side of 4 pieces of bacon total bill was $22 for everything. Complimentary chips and salsa were also outstanding. Definitely will be back to this gem- Highly recommend! I would post a picture of our food, but I don’t know how to find the option to post pictures on this review.
Great spot. Not the typical restaurant. Better quality product, presentation of food dish is actually considered. Great seasonings and wait staff is attentive. Abby rocks! They have a great homemade hot sauce that is not just heat but flavor as well. You can see back into kitchen at times and kitchen looks clean and there is usually a mountain of fresh veggies in sight. Feels nice knowing the veggies are fresh. They even have a little shelf of teas and herbal items by a local herbalist in the front. Nice little addition instead of just candy and chocolate at the register. Thanks for a great experience.
Hidden Gem! Well worth the drive! Katia and her fellow waitress work hard! Food was wonderful! Salsa was fresh and awesome!
Went to breakfast today. Had pancakes and bacon. I believe this restaurant is my favorite alongside Katie's and Simone's. I give it an A+. Less than $10 including tip.
Wowww. Just wow! Fast service. The salsa is spectacular & fresh. The cheese quesadilla was perfect, that guac is great too. My sister had the carne asada. I got the birria & pastor tacos! Superb, left stuffed like a pig! Perfect place to grab a bite after walking around in the heat!!

Good, basic American menu. Prices good, food better. Service varies but reflects experience level of waitress. It's not like tips are going to be huge serving chicken strips. Turnover needs to be expected.

Not what youâd expect for historic downtown Guthrie, but in a good way! No beer on tap, but a big selection of bottles and cans and a full bar. I wish there were more food options.
We were looking for a good BBQ spot and trip from OKC and this little treasure was great! Be sure not to judge a book by the cover because it might not look like much on the outside but the inside is clean and the food is great! Fun decor and the f
