What a beautiful beautiful place. So serene and peaceful. Great for the kids, or just to go for a walk, relax on a bench near the water.

We used to drive 45 minutes north to Sims because it was the best. Now we've moved and 4 years later were still driving 45 minutes south to go to Sims! It's a beautiful park. It's a huge park that's beautifully landscaped and has everything you could need in a park. A fun atmosphere, large, covered, double playground, splash pad, outdoor gym, pond, plenty of sidewalks and open paths for walking, the inlet for fishing, picnic tables and a stage for events. This is a favorite park for sure!
Daughter loves it and it's nice for a family and small kids they have a water park and all. You always see someone walking their dog. It's near the water. There's events that happen. It's all around a nice park.
Sims Park is the best.
For the Chasco Fiesta to the Craft Breweries and Richey Theater Comedy Shows, Sims Park is full of awesome things to do. The park has been updated with a splash park, regular playground, beautiful grass frontage to the river, and across the river, is the boat dock with small accommodating parking.
Great time at the Witch's and Warlocks river paddle. Beautiful weather and such a nice event.
As parks go - this one is AWESOME! It has everything - large grassy areas, boat docks, ponds, river walk, playground and sprayground, large live oaks, flowers, wildlife, picnic areas, benches, amphitheater, close to restaurants and bars, good parking. New Port Richey has quite a unique place here at Sims Park.
We always enjoy spending an evening here. We like to grab a bite to eat and then walk around the park while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Definitely a go to spot for my husband and I.

We love cabin camping here. The cabins are awesome. One outlet, enough to keep the phone charged and run a single burner. 4 bunk beds, sleeps 8. Fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table at each site. Plenty of hiking trails.
