OUTRAGEOUSLY good food! I've had BBQ from Memphis to Houston, and this is, by far, the BEST! That sauce, though. 🔥 Can't wait to go back and try other things. DO NOT SLEEP on this place!
Very rarely do i give 5 star reviews. I feel like there's always SOMETHING that can be improved on. This is one of those rare times when this was a perfect experience. I'm extremely picky about my BBQ. I had been traveling all day and when i landed in Little Rock i found this place on Google maps. Thank God i did. I got the combo plate with pulled pork, baby back ribs, collard greens, and baked beans. Everything was perfect. They were sauced just right, excellent smoke flavor, the rub was present but not over powering. I haven't had greens like they had there since my grandma was alive, i was instantly sent back to her kitchen when i took the first bite. I'm over the moon excited that i found a place like this, but heartbroken it's so far from where i live. It'll definitely be a "must go" stop the next time im back in Little Rock. Hell, i might go back just for Sims!
Side note: I saw the reviews that said the ribs were dry. That couldn't be farther from the truth. A good rib will have a bite and little pull. Those people must be the ones who think the meat should fall off the bone. THESE are perfect ribs.
Sims is the type of place that will take you back into time. Just the historical significance of this beacon in the community of Little Rock is enough to give you a sense of pride. At least it did for this kid from New York City. I'm praying for another 86 years of service for Sims Bar-B-Que. Thank you Sims for your hospitality.
I want to start with I don't normally leave bad reviews. Very disappointed. We were greeted nicely with "you are about to know good bbq." However, that was not our experience. The ribs were tough and difficult to chew, and only mildly warm. The fries were soggy. Normally I will give a place a second chance, however my family had a variety of things and didn't like any of them. And when leaving no one even asked how it went.

Great BBQ, authentic flavor. Best ribs I ever had, not sloppy but had great flavor, meaty, and fell off the bone. price was comparable. Dine-In ordering was a little confusing and slow but beyond that great experience.
I had the rib tips with green beans and coleslaw. The tips were good and flavorful. The coleslaw was less than stellar. The green beans were canned but good. My momma had ribs with greens and baked beans. I didn't care for the rib flavor. The beans were good
Sims is the best. The portion sizes are just right. The sauce is always on point. People debate about which city has the best barbeque. Clearly, they haven't had Sims. Sims barbeque is in a category of its own.
