The staff here is so kind and outstanding that it is a part of what keeps bringing me back to this restaurant. Aside from the impeccable service the food is the best Mediterranean food I have had in Fresno, probably ever. They make their pita bread in house daily, how can anyone even compete with that. All of their ingredients are fresh and you can taste the difference.They have definitely found regular out of me and if you give them a try I am sure you will become one too.
This is an amazing spot to eat! Everyone treats you with kindness the food was great tasted fresh, the salad with the feta cheese is a good balance between salty from the feta and tartness from the dressing. The rice was delicious and fluffy. The beef kabobs I got were cooking to a perfect medium(as requested) flavor was amazing. You can tell they do everything with love here. If you’re in the area and hungry don’t be afraid to go out and expand your horizons I promise you it will not disappoint!
This place is SO good! And service is kind, friendly and attentive.
My fiancé and I were heading back home from visiting relatives in Fresno and we decided we wanted Mediterranean food. Most places in Fresno were closed (after 5pm on a Sunday) but this place was open and has a great rating so we stopped in.
It did NOT disappoint!
For an appetizer, we shared a small hummus. Presentation was beautiful and the olive oil in the center was a nice touch!
For entrees, I got the mix grill plate (1 chicken, 1 beef, 1 lamb skewer) with a salad and yellow rice and my fiancé got the lamb kebab plate with pita bread and yellow rice. We both agreed our plates were delicious! I loved the side salad dressing with olives and feta cheese. The only comment I had was that the chicken kebab was slightly dry but the flavors were spot on.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and portions. We left feeling very full.
I wish we lived closer to this place because we’d stop in weekly!! Give it a try if you live nearby. We’ll be returning!

I definitely HIGHLY HIGHLY Recommend SIMPLY PITA 🫓 The people here are awesome & super kind! Their all welcoming!The food is awesome! This was our first time here and we'll definitely be back! We shared Chicken Shawarma with yellow rice & pita bread. Hmmm hmmm delicious! My husband also had a side of season fries with a yummy pink sauce. Next time we're trying hummus and something different!!!
Super yummy food here. Employees were really kind. The salad and veggies tasted fresh. What sets this place apart for me as a pita place is the flavoring. Seasoned really well. Dressings and falafel especially. Also the pita was so soft. Vegan options here too.
First time eating here. Food and service were great! Price was fair for the amount of food you get. Will definitely be coming back.
Wow! The food here is delicious and I highly recommend it! I tried the gyro for lunch and decide to come back for dinner and it was the right decision. If you like Mediterranean food this is the restaurant to go.
