The rooms were clean and my stay was fine. This was my second stay at this hotel and all was good.
To be fair... start on the low's end on the High's. We start with the low's. Housekeeping needs work with mirrors, Furniture, such as desk chairs need steam cleaned or replaced. The room I was in needed repair/replacement work on shower and for some reason the fridge had a loud buzz or humming. NOW the High's. Office staff very respectful and courteous. Bed sheets and pillows clean and no funky smells. There is a small fridge and microwave which is a PLUS nowadays. Location could not be better. Many establishments to suite anyones fancy , food; shopping; you name it, even a tattoo place, and Most places are in walking distance. Affordable for a much needed night sleep. Looking for a night of rest without having to drive endlessly looking for basic needs(food and shopping) before the midnight slumber you can't go wrong with Simply Home.
Man what a night mare! To begin Heater unit don't work, toilet got clog and not to mention the white towels were brown and yellow also the bed sheets and pillow cases were poorly wash and appear dirty, in adsdition My TV remote didn't work. I was woken up by the next door bed head rest banging on my wall from the lovers doing their thing. I regret not spending the $ 24 dollars on the booking App.
We weighed our options after reading reviews (and the hotels responses…) and thought we’d give this place a chance. We wish we didn’t. It leaves much to be desired. Thin bedding and heater doesn’t work. So we were cold at night. Towels were clean but had long black hairs on them and were thin. Cigarette holes in blankets. Shower curtain is not washed and drain was full of hair. Chair and couch in room had stains all over. Water only ran really hot. A few positives were clean sheets, semi comfortable beds (not the pillows), working TV, and quiet location. Take my advice: spend a few extra dollars for the better hotel.
My mom and I visited family and this place is the best 👌 comfortable clean quite
Owners are super nice! Room was clean. Free upgrade to double queen from double full room. Some rooms allow smoking. Neighbor guest smoking pot almost 24/7 reeked and seeped into our room. Bedding is thin and minimal. Towels are small. Location is in an ok neighborhood. No homeless, no police activity.
I attended an event in the area and was heading to L. A. the next day. What I was looking for was a clean room to put my head down for the night. Simply Home Inn & Suites did the job. I arrived late in the evening; I requested a room on the ground floor (it's my preference, especially since I was traveling alone). I was able to park right outside of my door. The room had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, and I didn't have to pay $200.00 a night for it. If I'm in the area and have to stay ||I'll definitely stay there again.
The owners are very kind and helpful. The mini-fridge in our room was barely cold enough and the microwave was just strong enough to call it a microwave. The bed is decent, although the sheets could be cleaner and the bed springs need to be pushed back in. However, our room was otherwise spotless and clean!
