Simply Greek - Greek restaurant in Holmdel - 2128 NJ-35, USA

I stopped by here as I am usually around this area for the Wine Outlet, Best Buy, or Patricia's. I never knew this place was here until my mom told me when I was craving gyros. The atmosphere is so welcoming and friendly as soon as you walk through the door. Service was amazing. We stopped by originally for a take out menu and ended up coming back to dine in. We ordered the gyros, one with salad and one with fried. Both were delicious and the salad was fresh, and the fries were crispy. The tzatziki was so delicious we ended up asking for more! Dessert was a delicious ekmek kataifi which was custard like and tasted so fresh. I also tried the Greek coffee which was so delicious. I will definitely be back to try more dishes here and I am so glad to have found a Greek place around here for my cravings!

The food was great, even though we had better in DC. However, the food is good enough. the waiter is very friendly and the decor was inviting. i was most impressed by the plants. i was told that the plants had been there for over 30 years and some professionals were coming in to care for them once per month. very good food, clean ingredients and great flavor. we would go again.

We dined at Simply Greek for the first time. Nice location right on Rt 35 in front of Best Buy. We were seeking gluten free options for the future and found a jackpot. See the menu for details. Nice inside decor with appropriate Greek music and a happy attentive staff. One thing to know this is a BYOB establishment so plan ahead. There is a wine store on the other side of Rt. 35. We started with a Falafel and Hummus appetizers and both were great. For dinner we both ordered kabob platters, my wife with lamb and I ordered pork. The lamb was delicious and the pork kabobs were a nice surprise. In lieu of fries we ordered rice with our dinners. Plates were also accompanied by fresh onions and tomatoes. Everything was excellent nothing but good things to say. Finally we couldn't visit without sharing the Baklava which was crunchy on the outside and nice and rich in the inside. Overall a great dinner with excellent service for a reasonable price. We will be back.

I was there to shoot for Grubhub. Friendly and helpful staff. The shoot went well and I got a free meal! You can't beat that. I enjoyed my food and will recommend this location.

I absolutely love this place, I’ve been coming here since it was it’s Greek to me and it hasn’t changed. The food is so fresh! I always go for the Greek salad and gyro pita, don’t forget the baklava!

I stopped in a few weeks ago on a whim and the food was fantastic! I got the half chicken with roasted potatoes and would definitely recommend. The owner was really nice and the whole restaurant is decorated so nicely.

Best Greek spot in the area. Fresh, delicious, authentic. No matter what I’ve had there it’s delicious. Everything I recommend, I’ve had. Today it was the stuffed pepper. My all time favorite is the roasted chicken lemonato and the butcher’s plate.

While out doing our Saturday Shopping stopped by a new place that finally opened at 1922 Hooper Avenue, Tom's River, N.J.. Sat down and ate several delicious slices of pizza. Kit had the Plain Deep Dish as did I, but I also tried their upside down Sicilian. Dough, Cheese and Sauce were a delight. Crust was crunchy and fluffy with the right amount of speckling on the under carriage. It's their 2nd day open, soft opening yesterday with Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting today. I would predict they will do well. Another Small Business to choose and support!!!
